Work at home

United States
November 4, 2006 12:46pm CST
I work from home as a phone operator. I am not logging as many hours as I would like. Does anyone know of any legitimate home based jobs out there? I don't want a new home business. I want a j-o-b that I can set my own hours. Any advice is welcome!

You what would be nice. A work at home job that you log into the companys website and they keep track of your hours logged in and you get paid an hourly wage for what ever the work is whether it is data entry, customer service, virtual asasistant. Everything is done online and you dont have to be on the phone unless you want to and you have the ability. I would love to find a job like that. Then my husband wouldent complain that I am online all the time.

I work for the same company you do and have recently been certified on a seasonal line...*T*ys and I love it! I have been able to schedule a lot of hours and am making decent $$. I had only been working D* and it hated it, the scripts were horrible and the pay was embarrassing. I am open to other opportuniteis so thank you for starting this discussion. I do some GPT sites on the side. Mostly Dealbarbiepays.com Sorry I don't have any other leads for you.

I work a business from home. Matter of fact someone that I network with told me about this place and I just had to come and check it out. I have been working a business from home for a little over a year now and I would never do anything else. It is not a J.O.B. tho, its a business of your own, sort of like being a contractor for a wellness company. Not sure if I am aloud to put my website on here so for now I wont. When I did my search, I found something that I would want to do and look forward to doing every day. Anyone that works a business from home needs desire, dedication and descipline to make it happen. I love what I do.... but you definately have to find something that you would be passionate about!!! Dawn

Ok, I seen someone added thier site, so I guess I can add mine: www.dawnsvison.fourpointgroup.com We do not sell, stock, ship or deliver anything, handle money..company does all that for us. We have a long list of legitimate credentials and can be checked out at the BBB as well among many other awards and such has been received. I am a stay at home mom of 2 daughters and the income potential is wonderful and the business is great in so many ways!!!

I was a part of Four Point moms over a year ago and it just isn't a good fit right now. I may try it again later. We are about to move to another state and right now I can take my job with me and not have to start from scratch. Once we are settled I may try Melaleuca again. Thanks anyway!

First, I would like to recommend www.telecommutingmoms.com. It is a wonderful site. It's how I found my work at home job. Check out the message boards- they have job listings daily. Its a group of at home moms, helping one another. Ok, jobs- I recommend checking out customer loyalty, and westcorporation. Both are listed on that site, and highly recommended. I hope that helps. Good luck. Oh, and the site is free!

Rebecca I have also contracted with West in the past. Have you checked out liveops? I wasn't able to get on with them because of where I live-they don't contract everywhere. They are a similar concept to West. Also here are some work at home job leads http://wahjobs.blogspot.com Good luck

i want to work from home to, what company do you work for, they forward the phone calls to ur home?
• United States
4 Nov 06
Yes they do forward the calls to your home. There are certain computer requirements and you have to have an addtional phone line for work and be able to pass a background check and go through about 30 hours of training. If you want to check it out go to workathomeagent.com
