Darjeeling tea or Assam tea

Which one is more popular -Darjeeling or Assam tea? How do you like your tea.

I've tried Darjeeling but not Assam. I love hot tea and iced tea. I like herbal teas, fruit teas, green, black, and white teas. One of my favorites is Oolong.
