What is everyone's take on long distance relationships? I am really interested in getting closer with one of my friends, but he lives two states away. It's about a six hour drive between us. I know this ultimatly a decision we will have to make together, but I'm just wondering what others think of long distance, do you think it can work, or don't bother?

i dont think long distance relationships are good you miss so much of that person.after all spending time with that person is the purpose of having a relationship.you just never get every thing out if them that you can from a close relationship.

If you both want it badly to work, it will. In my case it didn't. My cousin has been with her bf for almost 4years already. He's based in Europe and her in Asia. They talk once a week, email at least once a week. He comes to Asia at least once a year, most of the time twice. She also went to visit him once. They live thousands of miles apart and have somehow made it work. You only live 6hours away, so you can give it a try.
