THE CORRECT WAY OF EATING FRUITS
We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits,
cutting it,and just
popping it into our mouths. It's not so easy as
you think.
It's important to know how, and when to eat.
What is the correct way of eating fruits?
* IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS
AFTER YOUR MEALS!
* FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY
STOMACH.
If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major
role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a
great deal of
energy for weight loss, and other life activities.
FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
Let's say you eat two slices of bread and
then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to
go straight
through the stomach into the intestines, but it is
prevented from
doing so.
In the meantime the whole meal rots, and ferments,
and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into
contact with the food in the stomach, and digestive
juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.
So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or
before
your meals! You have heard people complaining - every
time I eat
water-melon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach
bloats up, when I eat bananas, I feel like running to the
toilet etc - actually all this
will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty
stomach.
The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food, and
produces gas, and hence you will bloat!
Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark
circles
under the eyes all these will not happen
if you take fruits on an empty
stomach.
There is no such thing as some fruits like orange, and
lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline
in our body,
according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did a research on
this
matter.
If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits,
you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy,
happiness, and normal weight.
When you need to drink fruit juice -
drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT From the cans. Don't
even drink
juice that has been heated up. Don't eat Cooked
fruits, because you don't get the nutrients at all.
You only get to taste.
Cooking destroys all the vitamins.
But eating a whole fruit is better
than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice,
drink it
mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must Let it mix
with your
saliva before swallowing it.
You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body.
Just eat fruits, and drink fruit juice throughout the
3 days
and you will be surprised when your friends
tell you how radiant you look!
KIWI: Tiny but mighty.
This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, Vitamin
E
& fiber. Its Vitamin C content is twice that of an
orange.
APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away?
Although an apple has a low Vitamin C content, it has
antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the
activity of Vitamin C
thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer,
heart attack & ;
stroke.
STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit.
Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power
among major fruits
& protect the body from cancer-causing, blood
vessels-clogging free
radicals.
ORANGE : Sweetest medicine.
Taking 2 -4 oranges a day may help keep colds
away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney
stones as well as
lessens the risk of colon cancer.
WATERMELON: Coolest
Thirst Quencher Composed of 92% water, it is also
packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps
boost
our immune system. They are
also a key source of lycopene - the cancer fighting
oxidant. Other
nutrients found in watermelon are Vitamin C &
Potassium.
GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for Vitamin C.
They are the clear winners for their high Vitamin C
content.
Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent
constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good
for your eyes.
Drinking Cold water after meal = Cancer!
Can you believe this??
For those who
like to drink cold water, this article is applicable
to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal.
However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff
that you have just consumed. It will slow down the
digestion.
Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it
will break down, and be Absorbed by the intestine
faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.
Very soon, this will turn into fats, and lead to
cancer.
It is best to Drink hot soup, HOT TEA or warm water
after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks
HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE': (THIS IS NOT A JOKE!)
Women should know that not every heart attack
symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware
of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain
during the course of a heart attack.
Nausea, and intense sweating are also common symptoms.
60% of people who have a heart attack while
they are asleep do not wake up.
Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.
Let's be careful and be aware.
The more we know, the better chance we could
survive...
A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail
sends it to
10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at
least one life.
Read this ...It could save your life!!
Let's say it's 6.15 pm and you're driving
home.
Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in
your chest that starts to radiate out into your arm,
and up into your
jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital
nearest your
home.
Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able
to make it
that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy
that taught the
course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.
'HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE':
Since many people are alone when they suffer a
heart attack, without help, the person
whose heart is beating improperly, and who begins to
feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before
losing consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing
repeatedly, and Very vigorously. A deep breath should
be taken before each cough, deep, and prolonged, as when
producing sputum from deep inside the chest.
A breath, and a cough must be repeated about every two
seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the
heart is felt to be
beating normally again.
Deep breaths get oxygen into the
lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart, and
keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on
the heart also helps it
regain normal rhythm.
In this way, heart attack victims can get to a
hospital.
Tell as many Other people as possible about this. It
could save their lives!!

that was a long information on how to eat fruits..
I remember way back college, my teacher in chemistry also told me that eat first the fruit, before you eat your meal.. because the vitamins that you'll get from the fruits wouldn't take effect on you..
thank you for that..
hhmm.. I don't want to eat fruits in to three consecutive days.. there's a tendency for me to have a stomach ache.. anyway, I find this post very informative..thank you so much.

It's such a long post.. lol =D
Actually fruits is a form of carbohydrate too.. Fruits can be a meal, but it cant totally replace rice.. Fruits and just the same like other food, they need certain food and things to react with each other, in order to trigger the real effect of the fruits and as well as food ^_^
UNless one is very health consious, if not, normal eating and will be ok for the body with eating of fruits with moderation everyday ^_^

hi kaesy a lot of that stuff about fruit is purely hog wash
and goes against everything that the American Diabetes associations doctors have to say about fruits. rots in your
stomach is old old myths, and not true. this is just deplorable
'as a lot of people will read this and think it is true. I and
many hundreds of people have been eating fruit as dessert and have never had it rot in their stomachs or any of that other crap.also drinking cold water after a meal does not lead to cancer nor do any of that other crap. you should verify this stuff before
p;osting it,this is pure garbage. all of that stuff has been disproved by doctors and medical experts not by some idiot who makes up stuff and puts it in an e mail. now the stuff about heart attacks has been badly copied out of american medical journal.

Got a new info..you might want to read this
http://www.fredericpatenaude.com/fruit-article.html
Eating fruit before meals and other food combining rules
Natural Hygienists have known for a long time that fruit doesn’t combine well with other foods. The reason is that fruit contains simple sugars that require no digestion. Thus, they will not stay for a long time in the stomach. Other foods, such as foods rich in fat, protein and starch, will stay in the stomach for a longer period of time because they require more digestion. So if you eat fruit after a meal, the fruit sugar will stay for too long in the stomach and ferment. This is why people experience digestive trouble when eating fruit that way. They then blame that particular fruit for their trouble and claim that they are “allergic” to it.
Natural Hygienists have been recommending for a long time that fruit be eaten alone with no other foods. They have also recommended eating melons alone and avoiding mixing acid fruits with sweet fruits such as bananas. These are great recommendations, but can be definitely be simplified.
Many people have a difficult time eating a meal of fruit alone. They’ll eat a meal of melon and not so long after they’ll be hungry again, for the simple and obvious reason that melons are not calorie dense. Eating a small cantaloupe (200 calories) is not going to sustain you for very long. But because they have read somewhere that mixing melons with other fruits is not allowed, they’ll try to wait until the next meal to eat something else and then will often in the meantime overeat on dried fruits and nuts to compensate.
The solution to this is very simple: since fruit digests so fast, it is possible to eat fruit before any other food. You can, when you are hungry, eat as much fruit as you care for. One type of fruit only would be ideal. Then wait a little bit, like 5-10 minutes, and have any other food you desire. This can be a salad, a little avocado with tomatoes, some nuts, or anything. It can be cooked food too. If you’ve been trying to follow food-combining rules without success, this new information could be very valuable to you.
The same goes with mixing other fruits together. You can eat all the melon you want, and then, if you are still hungry, eat another type of fruit to satisfy your appetite. It is not necessary to eat melons alone if they are eaten before another foods. You can even have melon and then have an avocado after. The only thing that is important to remember is to have the fruit first - not after, and ideally only have one variety at a time.

this is still hogwash as I onlyh go by what real doctors and real medical experts say not by some quack hygenists, I do not belive every thing that naturalists and other quacks say. My doctor has told me that you can eat fruit with a meal, before a meal or after and it will not rot in your stomach.to begin with the moment food gets into your tummy the various secretions that digest our food start digesting it. I even called a nutrionist for american diabetes about this rotting in your tummy she is a registered dietition and knows what she is talking about and she said that is nonsense spouted by people who want to make a buck on the internet. I go by qualified people when it comes to food and my health.

Good day... It's a novel but it's worth reading. I've been in the medical field but never had this type of discussion but it's additional knowledge and it's free and most importantly it's informative.

According to Yoga and Ayurveda , the idea is to not eat fruits on a full stomach ... fruits provide energy but will interfere with digestion of the food had during a meal ... so a good time to eat furits is an hour before meals.
Also, it is always advisable (not compulsory) to eat seasonal fruits.
