Hi,
I'm jogging all the time, but I do try to add walking as well.
The knees do have pressure on them while jogging but... there's always pressure on the knees. The main point is, to strengthen your leg muscles while jogging regularly. This can be done by several exercises.
I think jogging has several qualities that walking does not have - I can feel it in my fitness as well in the way my muscles react (it might be the difference between a 6-pack and no 6-pack sometimes...).

Well... I do mostly squats (folding my knees under me) and I stretch a lot - making sure I would be flexible, which helps to avoid injuries.
You can find lots of good exercise here : http://www.exrx.net.

hi just watch a health show on tv the other day
it said that walking is better than jogging/running
heavy routine like jogging or running can loose you more energy thus makes you eat more to refuel.
20-30 minutes, 3-4time a week is the ideal time to do walking
and our already doing aerobic exercise if you do it contniously.
