Does PayPal mean a PTC site is more legit than others?

Do you think it says anything about at PTC site if they use PayPal only or in addtion to Alert Pay as their payment processor? I ask as in light of that recent issue where PayPal stopped servicing many PTC sites and they had to go to Alert Pay or E-gold. I never heard the "real" story as to why that happened, but since PayPal is the largest online payment processor - the most liked and preferred and used and all that, and Paypal denied many PTC sites, I see some still have PP as a payment option... does this say anything about that PTC site as to its credibility? I mean if PayPal is accepting their business after kicking out so many, does that meant PP thinks, for whatever reason, that PTC site is more reliable or legit than others? Is PP accepting only those that have a solid history with them?
Any thoughts?

I don't think PP wants to be associated with anything that could be potentially called a scam. They do have a solid rep for buyer and seller protection and this is probably the reason they are kicking out so many. That and maybe they have received complaints about these sites.

Great point- Paypal is expensive to use as a seller or business.

It really depends on the site. It must not have more than one referral level. The stink started when some sites paid money for 10 levels. The sites were frozen for this. A lot of the sites changed their home pages to reflect PayPal's wishes and everything went back to normal. I don't trust E-gold as it is hacked too many times. Alertpay's fees are too high. I stick with sites that pay with PayPal and only the one's that have paid me many times before. If the sites comply with PayPal's rules then there isn't a problem.

I think your analysis is basically correct. I think that paypal is still being used at the sites that have a long tradition of paying out such as clixsense and hits for pay. Sites that are newer or havent been proven yet are having to use alertpay. I like paypal alot better also becasue I am much more familiar with them.
