-will you give one of your eye to a friend and live having just an eye for the rest of your life?
-can you donate a kidney to a stranger?
-can you block your body just to save someone who is about to be hit by a truck or a big bus?
-can you donate some of your money to the needy and live an average lifestyle when exaclty you can live luxuriously if you keep your money for yourself?

Good lord, no. For one thing, they've obviously been very careless with their own eyes and/or kidneys, so I wouldn't have much faith in them taking care of one of mine. For another, I live thousands of miles away from where I was born, so anyone I know is extremely unlikely to be a tissue match for me anyhow. And immediate family would be far too far away to transport any viable organs.

You put up an interesting discussion.
Giving an eye to a friend...now thats a hard one. I dont think I would give an eye to a friend I dont really share all my interests and secrets with. But to a close family member or a very close friend, I think I would. It also depends what age I am really. If im a bit older, I would more likely than when im youger simply because I think each person has to live some part of his or her life.
With the kidney donating. I dont think I would be able to donate to a complete stranger, but if a got to know the person a bit better or their family then I may consider it.
Blocking your body to save someone else life. Thats the most difficult question. I would if it was a family member or a close friend but any stranger I dont think I would be able to.
For me, the last question is the easiest. I would definately give up my working money to live an average lifestyle to help the needy. But not just any needy people who have had countless opportunities to turn their life around. I would be more than happy to give half my money to a poor needy family in africa or some place poor and where people dont have any chance at all.
Good discussion mate. It really makes me think about life and stuff.

I wouldn't be able to give an eye to a friend, I just wouldn't be able to lose an eye if it was my choice.
I would not give my organs to a stranger.
If I was going to die, I would not jump in front of a vehicle to save someone.
I am not sure about the money thing, if I work hard for my money, I would like to enjoy my prosperity for giving my time. I know many that are needy are in that position because of bad self management, and I don't know if my money would help them much anyway with managing themselves any better.
I guess I am a little selfish, but as far as I know I have one life to live, and I want to make it the best life I can.
