When I had Firefox 2.0 I could save the Youtube video to my hard drive, and then could put it on a Cd, DVd or my flash drive. But now with Firefox 3.0, I am unable to. I do not have a Facebook account, nor want to have it in an email. Sometimes a video may be taken off, but I love opera, and there are some I want a record of. So how do I do it? Do I have to open Youtube in Internet Explorer or another browser to do so?

Okay, I will have to try them out myself. I do get upset when there is a link here for a youtube video and I want it on my hard drive. I am crazy about Bach, Opera, and I love to sing and I want to download as many suggestions as possible.

Hello dear suspenseful friend. Although I do not have much knowledge about this technique about saving videos to your hardware, as I have not such experience, yet I still drop in to your discussion to just say hi to you, my dear friend. I hope that you will get a good solution to it with good luck.

I have Internet Explorer and all I do is put it into my favorites.
I also have a youtube acct and just add it to the playlist. Don't have Firefox so I couldn't tell you how to use that one. IE seems to work logically with no problems.

Do you have windows media player 10? That's what my husband uses to save youtube videos to his hard drive. I've never tried it. My computer's almost too full, as it is!

I have. I can download Youtube from Internet Explorer, but what I want to do is to download from Firefox. In the internet Explorer, it is through Quicktime and has the box above saying download here, but there is nothing on Firefox except to send the link to someone else or to Facebook and the other sites.
