At my job we rotate shifts every fourteen weeks. Just as you get used to a shift, you get switched to another. I have developed Insomnia, and have even tried perscription sleeping aids, which just made me have weird dreams and more problems sleeping. Any suggestions or tried and true tips?

That's a pretty mean job.. seriously. I don't think I could do it. As for suggestions, there's probably nothing you haven't already heard or tried. But when I have trouble sleeping I usually read myself to sleep... poetry does the trick pretty well for me. I hope you can break the insomnia! and maybe get a friendlier job! :)

Thank you so much! It is really hard, because when I get home I'm so hyped up from work that I can't sleep. Then just my luck on a good night that I'm tired, I'll flashback to remember something that night at work. Its been a never ending battle. I'm just going to stick it out for a few more years, and hopefully by then it will all work itself out. I had never had sleep issues until now. I am tired, absolutely exhausted, just can't sleep! Its so frustrating!
