What is the most important thing we look for in any relationship?

Mystery. It adds spice to any relationship. Because if you already know every inch of that person, there's nothing more to discover. Eventually you'll have to look for someone else, someone who would make you curious about a person again. And also, if you ever had a huge fight with that special someone, you always have to admit that its your fault. And then comes the kiss and make up part.

if i were to chose only one thing, it would be trust. i could not have a relationship if i did not trust. this main item would be for a friendship or love relationship. if i could chose more, it would be communication and the ability to laugh.

the one thing that i look for in a relationship is love.for me,if there is love,everything else will follow.if there is love,there's the willingness to sacrifice for the sake of the loved one and the perseverance to hold on and make it last forever no matter what it takes.

Honesty. If you are not on a strong foundation of honesty, there can be nothing to build the relationship on. Dishonesty can lead one down the wrong path towards a destructive relationship. It can cause people to cheat on their partner and lie, which can snowball. There is nothing without honesty, in my opinion.

Trust would be near the top of the list for most people I would think. Can you really have a good relationship of any kind if you can't trust the other person? I would say this is a pretty important thing for me and I am happy that I have it in my relationship.
