What do you prefer: Vista or XP?

I honestly have to say that I prefer Windows XP and I always have because I have been using it on my parents computer for a long while and it has never let me down,I have heard a lot of things about Vista some good,but most of it bad,and I have had people tell me that Vista is a bad idea and that is is both a waste of time and money,and I have been told to avoid Vista if all possible.

For me, I experienced a lot with Windows XP. I have been working with Windows XP for many years, and I think Window Xp is easy to use and have good performance.Windows Vista is also a good OS, but it require the high capacity to run. I don't like it at all because I don't have the up-to-date computer to install it.

When XP was first released i simply hated it. For no better reason than it looked different and i wasn't used to it. After 3 Service Packs from Microsoft and too many mods to count on my part i've come to enjoy XP quite alot. A few months back i decided to see how Vista Home Basic would do on my current PC. So i bought it and installed it on an extra HDD i had laying around. My pc is right at the minimum requirements for Vista Home. But with some tweaks on my part it actually ran quite well and i was pleased...for a few months. Until i tried to play Age of Empires III. The game installed but with Vista not enough resources were available for the game to play properly. At the moment i'm sticking with XP, but as soon as i have a computer upgrade i'll switch over to Vista.

Vista has been cqalled a down grade. But the computer that my hubby bought last October has it. I am getting used to it. I still like XP better.

I prefer the XP version because there is a much program that is compatible with XP than with VISTA here in the Philippines.

I started using Vista when i purchased my new laptop. I dont like it at all... I am planning to downgrade it to XP
