I love Veggie Pizza. I make my own and it is so easy. I use store bought cresent rolls. I just use them to line the bottom of a pizza pan. I then top it with cream cheese. Then just add veggies cut small. I use calaflower, brocolli, green pepper and onion. You can use other veggies but those are my favorite.
Have you ever made a veggie pizza?
What do you like on your veggie pizza?

This is what I put in mine.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (1 ounce) package dry Ranch-style dressing mix
1 cup fresh broccoli, chopped
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup chopped cauliflower
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Yep and I like them very much. I make my own dough or buy frozen bread dough from the grocery store. I like to put ricotta cheese, mushrooms, onions(nice and thin), sliced tomato, sweet red pepper, fresh basil, and a bit of grated Romano on top.

I've never made or eaten veggie pizzas. I like meat or just cheese on my pizza. Mostly though, I like cheese pizzas.

I have never tasted a veggie pizza but don't think it is something I would care for either just because I am not fussy on vegetables at all lol . I have never made one or actually know anyone who has made one either .
I bet it is something that would be really healthy though , wonder if I could trick the children into eating it by telling them it was pizza lol . It would be a way to get them to eat there veggies :)

I have made the following non red sauce veggie pizzas:
Spinach
Broccoli
Garlic
with the spinach and broccoli pies I first laid down a layer of cottage (or ricotta) cheese done up like you would for lasagna and then lay the veggie on top.
for the garlic pie I pierce the crust (I use a bread recipe) and brush on olive oil - then sprinkle with italian herbs.... then add either chopped garlic or even just garlic powder... then the mozzarella cheese, sometimes I like to add some tomato slices atop.

Hi
I have been vegetarian for over 20 years and have had lots of veggie pizzas, many idffering ones over the years as I acquired new tastes and new things became available to me.
I used to even make multigrain/wholemeal pizza bases (pritikin style) and sold a few to a cafe nearby.
Yes, I used to like pizzas with broccoli, pineapple, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto and herbs.
I started making easy ones using either pita bread or mountain bread as the base.
A really fast meal I would have some nights (when tired after work) was sort of like pizza - I would just get organic mountain bread (very thin), spread pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, and organic fetta cheese on it and bake it (it would cook really fast). I love to have crunchy lettuce on it when I am eating it (the lettuce stays fresh, of course, I don't cook that).
Now I am trying to eat raw - vegan so I have to create something different I have been experimenting with a type of dough with sprouted wheat, but I haven't got it too my liking yet and I will use a nut pate/cheese on it with sun-dried tomatoes, basil, lettuce, avocado (and still thinking on ways to perfect this!)

I do love a variety of vegies Top with cheese though on a pizza. I havn't been fussed with ham/meat on pizza's lately they have been tasting too fatty.

I have tried to eat veggie pizza before. I don't have much of a taste for it. It is mainly because I do not like cooked vegetables. I love raw vegetables though. Id I had to cook or make my own veggie pizza, I would just put tomatoes on it, even though tomatoes are considered to be a fruit.

I love veggie pizza! I've never made it like you do, but it doesn't sound bad at all. I might have to give it a try, if I've got those ingredients around.
Mine usually consist of a poorly tossed crust and tomato sauce. Then, I usually add olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, brocolli, cauliflower, spinach, feta cheese, squash/zucchini, and chickpeas. I usually give it a nice coating of cheese, as well. Yum!

Yes I have, my fave veggie is the spinach and garlic one. Not too keen on a lot of veggies on it, cant taste anything if it has too much stuff on it.
Never tried to make a homemade pizza but it would be kind of fun to do it.

I love vegetarian pizza though. My sister is a vegetarian, and there have been times when we'll just slip a veggie pizza. We boh love it.

I make veggie pizza sometimes, but I've never used cream cheese. I like to use marinara sauce, mozzarella and an assortment of veggies (including carrots).
