Has anyone else heard about this with Morgan Freman?

Morgan Freeman was in a car accident. he is in recovery now. he is one of my favorite actors. I hope he will be alright after he wakes up from his surgery. I have liked him in so many movies like "Along Came A Spider", "Seven" and his most recent "The Buget List". Morgan Freeman recovering after surgery

I heard this yesterday. I love his acting. The last I heard, he was doing ok though. He is one of those actors that you never forget.

Yes..it was so strange because I just finished watching The Bucket List on DVD and when it ended E! was on and they were saying he was in serious condition. So I just watched a film about him dying and then he was close to dying in real life.
I've loved watching all his films...especially Shawshank Redemption and Million Dollar Baby and Driving Miss Daisy. I grew up watching him on TV on The Electric Company. He's a terrific actor so I hope he's recovering well.

I heard about it. Is he not the actor who always appears on the movies, type cast as the wise man who even when he plays an evil villain is always respected? I guess you can see that I am not a Morgan Freman fan. I mean what did the characters in the movies do before he came in? Bungled along? Oh and I hated Seven when that horrible killer murdered the detective's wife and unborn baby.

It was that when he played bad guys they were always sympathetic. If a blond guy had played a bad guy especially the South African or German types, they were evil through and through with no sympathetic characteristics altogether. It seems that if you are of a different race or part of a different race they give you a reason for your evilness, but if you are Caucasian, no way. You are the scum of the earth with no redeemable features. When I see a movie with Morgan Freman or other African American as a truly evil person with no redeemable qualities, and not be someone who came from Ghana or the African continent, but born in America, then I will know that the African American has attained the same level as us White people.

i've read about this accident too in the newspapers. it was surprising because i was just reading about him being in a certain movie (which i have forgotten by now ^__^;;). and i was more surprised when i read that there was a lady with him when he got in that accident. well, its quite a relief to hear that she was just a friend. Morgan Freeman is one of the serious actors i respect in Hollywood. it would be a great loss if he would die this early. (knock on wood three times). i've also read that he will be divorcing his wife? isn't that an odd timing? well, anyway, i'm hoping for the best for him.

Yup ! I saw it on the net news on some site.
He is a great actor and very convincing in his roles.
I'm sorry about his accident and I would like to believe he has more films in him.
He's good at his job.

I read about that a few days ago... and i am glad that he in on the road to recovery... i also like Morgan Freeman... and my favorite among his films is Seven... he worked so well with Brad Pitt... and as an actor... he can carry a movie on his own...

I had not heard about this until now. I agree with you he is a wonderful actor and I am very sorry to hear that he was injured. I sincerely hope he will come out of this ok. Thank you for sharing this piece of information .

I read about that in the newspaper. I beleive he has a broken arm and I can't remmeber what else. He was in serious condition the last I heard he is 71 years old. I love Morgan Freeman. He is a great actor and I hope he will be alright.

I did not know that Morgan Freeman was in a car accident and I am sorry to hear that he was because it is very sad,and he has placed in a ton of good movies,and I think my favorite movie he played in was Bruce Almighty,and I am glad to hear that he is recovering after having surgery and I hope he gets well enough to leave the hospital soon because no one likes being in the hospital.

I dont know much about Morgan Freeman . But looking at the discussion I understand the greatness of the actor . I am extremely sorry for the accident that has happened to your favorite hero . With so many of loyal fans and their wishes for him to get better he is but sure to get better. So take heart and pray which is more powerful than anything in this world.
