Why is it that we see movies in the movie theater

This is my first time in responding to any discussion, so be patient with me. I love going to the movies at the theater. I guess it's because the screen is so big that you can feel like your part of the movie and lose yourself mentally with what is going on. You can block everyone and everything out and get involved with the action. When you watch a movie all your emotions are at play. I can't do that online. Too many interruptions and distractions. I guess that's why we have bigger screens at home. I love movies.

I dont loke to watch movies in theater. I dont like it, i cant specify my reasons for that. We like to have some fun in our life, so we will go to movies.

It will feel like you're included in the movies because aside from the large scren there are also large speakers. And if the movie is horror it will not fail to scare you because it will seem you're in there.

Big screen, good sound, gives you a more emmersive experience. Also, it is nice to get out of the house sometimes!

Because I dont have wide screen and better sounds in my house , and dont have flavored pop corn. If I have those I will stay home for movies.

if you dont wanna go spend your money at the cinema, then nobody is making you, it makes the special effects of a film and surround sound alot better and makes the filma a much better experiancew .

... i rarely go to the moviehouse, but when i do, it's because i am excited about the film and can't wait for the dvd to be released ... because of the film's special fx which all of us appreciate better in the big screen .... because of the good sound system .... because of the popcorn ? ....

Earning and spending are two sides of money, We spend huge money to see pics in theatre because to get match with our expectation and to get satisfied. Mega screen, surrond systems keeps us happy like live in the picture in theatre. So its part of our enjoyment and spending style !!!

It is rare that i go to the theater. the only reason is if I am so excited about the movie that I just cant wait an extra 4 months to get it from red box. I have a big screen and great seating and sound so that isnt the draw for me. taking a date to the theater is nice compared to sitting at home so that might be a big draw for some. It's 9.50 for a night ticket and that is just too much for me.

Its a different fun to watch a movie at a theater and the same on dvd ..............but still watching movies in theters is great fun ......firstly you're watching it on a big screen and you feel much more involved in film
