Do you bake or order cakes for occasion?

I don't have an oven at home so I will just order cake in the bakery shop.

same here.but not because i hate to prepare,it's just that i don't know how..lol

My first attempt at making a cake for my son's birthday was a flop. It fell apart. I knew there was a reason why I always ordered instead of baking LOL

Sometimes we bake a cake for someone's birthday, but most of the times we like to buy it from a place next to my house! Their chocolate with strawberries cake is delicious! :)

I just buy cakes at the nearby bake shop. We don't have an oven so we really can't bake cake.

we dont eat cakes too much in the family actually because i am diabetic however when we have days like birthdays or celebration of something we never bake it we just order it from the bake shop to guarantee it because my mom might do something wrong while baking it so all the hours of work might go for nothing even though we pay more little bit i think its worth it , and also when you have really good bakery shop next to your shop you never want to bake anything because its cakes and other things are really delicious

we just mainly like to get the cake at the store taht is already made to eat. we don't never cook real cakes, or whatever.

We always buy cake when it's someone's birthday. That's a no miss for us. It's sort of a family tradition already. I tried baking a cake once for mother's day but it was a complete disaster! Not only did I use up so many ingredients, I also had to spend a lot of time making it. It's really much simpler to let the experts bake the cake for me. I don't mind baking cookies and bars, but cakes are beyond me. :P

I definitely order cakes because I am not much of a baker. Besides from saving the time making one, you can turn your attention to the other details of the occasion that needs your attention. There are lots of variety that you can choose from a bake shop, so less hassle and all you need is to prepare the money.
