Filipinos who are making money online are lucky enough because unionbank make the easiest way so that we can withdraw our funds from paypal by means of their EON card. i got my card yesterday and i am waiting for the 24 hours activation. after few hours it can be the time to add this card to my paypal account so that i am verified. Do you have EON card now, if yes how you find their service? if no, you cand apply it now from any union branch within the Philippines. EON card is design for paypal but it has many usage. So what are you waiting for, apply immediately so that you will experience the service of this card. It's a debit card with no maintaining balance so it is easy to us if in case we running out of funds.

Okay, I really should go to Union Bank ASAP to get an EON card. I really need it to have a peace of mind thinking about where to withdraw the funds I have in my PayPal account. I've been e-mailing them for the last months regarding requirements and other inquiries but I receive no reply unlike in BPI.

only 2 valid id's. i applied my card online so it's automatic but this valid id's are being presented during the claims of your card. annual fee is only P 350.00 you will pay this when you pick-up your card in any branch you have chosen. Now, online application is temporarily stop due to system enhancement. you can apply to any branch.

Thanks for the information. I am contemplating about having one but not right now that my paypal account has not been funded as of yet. I am on moneybookers and when my Payout is sent there I will try to withdraw from it then I will transfer my payours to Paypal and I think that is the right time for me to transfer my payouts to paypal.

thanks for the information buddy. actually, i have this gsis ecard which is connected to union bank too. it is also a debit card. so i am pretty much updated since i got this card 2 or 3 years ago. and also, i don't have to apply for the eon card. but i just added my account recently with paypal so i can also withdraw my money conveniently in atm. Good day... I've been using my eon card for almost a year now and it served me well. All the benefits of a credit card with out the risk of card phising and low annual payment fee and no maintaining balance.

Congrats to you! I haven't gotten my eon card and its been a month since I applied for that one. i even do my follow up on application everyday yet the people of union bank can't say what's wrong and why it took so long. So I am now planning not to get the card when it comes. BEsides I have read from other thread that this eon card charges $5 per transaction on paypal and has a 10 peso charge on withdrawal to any union bank branch. Hope you can clear that to us if had your transactions soon. I also plan to open a chinatrust visa cash card which is also applicable to paypal.

I didn't apply for a unionbank eon card because you can now withdraw your paypal funds and transfer it to your local bank account...

yeah you can withdraw funds from your paypal to your account but remember your account will be soon on limit, meaning you can't transact any because it's under limit, you can only lift that out if you verify it. you should verify first before withdrawing your funds. it is ok to add your bank accounts to your paypal.

Yes it's true that you have to get your paypal verified first by linking your credit card to your paypal acct. After you get verified, that's the only time that you can transfer money from paypal to your bank acct (mine is BPI). You can also check out http://pages.ebay.ph/bankwithdrawal for more information....

no maintaining balance but you must deposit certain amount good for the transaction payment in retrieving your code for linking your card in your paypal account. after your account verified the charge of $1.95 will be refunded by paypal. you can also avail debit card from Banco de Oro, their BDO Cash is also accepted.

What are the requirements? I think I'll be taking that card instead of depositing everything to my BDO account.

[i]Hello julyteen,
That's a good news. I am still waiting for my eon card though. It's almost two months now. They said they made some changes on the card, that's why it's taking too long to get one. I hope I can get my eon carn soon, so I can use it with my paypal account.
