I am currently living in Ohio, but from Louisiana, everyone should see New Orleans once, if you have never been there, it is awesome. The French Quarters, the food, the water, so many tours, the beautiful art work on the buildings. Ride the street car, Louisiana is famous for it's food, all the seafood you can eat, go down to the docks and you can get all you want. The french market, the aquariam, the Riverwalk. Like I said there is too many things to mention, it is worth the trip, but also can be dangerous if you travel into the wrong parts of town. You can also get a look at what Hurricane Katrina did to the people of Louisiana.

I'm in the state of Mississippi. It's very hot here right now but if you travel down to the coast the gulf is beautiful and the past two years it's been really great watching them clean up and rebuild from Katrina. It was awful at first but it's exciting now that things are coming back to life. Mississippi is also a beautiful state to drive through if you like trees and nature.
