what will you do to a friend who do not reply to your discussions?

I would not bother. I mean they might be too busy catching up on their own posts and marking the pluses on theirs. It also might mean that the discussion hits too close to home or they are rather nervous about it. I mean we are virtual friends here. I never delete my friends -- except for a short instance when I was balancing my interest friends == even the nasty ones, I wait until they delete me (as long as they do not write a rant afterwards saying how evil I was that I did not agree with them) But someone who did not reply to my discussions, maybe they did not want you snapping at them if they said something you did not like.

i posted related topics with this month ago i think. well, what i did was boycott her post. it is really unfair although we are not oblige to respond other post but this is the essence of friendship we have here. how can we be close to our friends if we don't know what they feel or their ideas on different topics we had. it is fair to interact with your friend specially if your friends need your valuable ideas. i did already boycotting to a mylotters who belong to my friends list. i no longer find her post lately, i don't know why?

There would be always reasons like subject, interest and time to put the response and so on... This is a fact of internet that some time friend's responses are more and some time nil! Nothing to worry about and does not need to think that let me delete few of them and add new one! Because there are always possibility there new one will also not put response, then what to do? same thing again? Well I also like to think that how many time and how much responses I have put? If I am unable to put responses besides my want to put then there would be same possibilities for every one! It is always good to continue friendship in any form than delete/cut it!

I wouldnt worry about it. Unless you have a really big friend list I would leave them on their. I dont know how many of my friends respond to my discussions. I just add everyone to my list and hope for the best.

hi kaezy_kulet... hope its not me huh! i am really not active for quite some time so i should be excuse ryt?!...hehe anyways...i do feel angry when i answer several of someone else discussion many times yet i didn't get response from that person...then i will stop patronizing his/her posts...if i post again and get disappointed then the blame should be on ourselves because we know they wont respond yet you post yet do expect...hmmmm bdw how are you my friend? what to do? of course nothing, for me i will not delete them on my list. besides it's there happiness lol why will i take it away from them it means they don't feel answering other's thread, that's why they are just making their own. if they are not answering your thread, don't respond to them too. as simple as that hehehe..

Hi kaezy_kulet, I wouldn't delete them unless there had been nothing from them in about six months. It would seem pointless to leave them there any longer than that. Blessings.

I will still continue to let them stay in my frenz list, because i dun start much discussions anyway.. haha ^_^ Plus, i always like to respond to ple's threads than ple replying to mine, so that i need not always check my own discussions.. hehe ^_^ But if i start alot like u and the fren dun reply to mine, i guess i wun respond to theirs too, because they are just selfish, but still i wun delete them till they ask me y i dun respond to theirs and i will be able to tell them.. lol

I have a few friends within my list who do not always answer to my discussions, this could be for a number of reasons. Either they are busy and do not get around to answering them, or they do not feel they can respond to the discussion because they cannot identify with it, or they just do not feel like it. It does not matter to me, it is not a big deal and I would not delete them for it. I would still continue to answer to their discussions because I prefer to respond than discuss anyway.

Leave them on the list. They could be reading and rating everything but not have anything to say. I have a few people i love reading their discussions but I dont reply because i dont have something useful to say or someone else has already said it. Its not always a case of only concentrating o their discussions. They could also be very busy.

What do I think? Well, I think that an online MyLot friend can be a friend for a variety of reasons. One might be that they respond to your discussions. Another might be that they create discussions you like to respond to. But, in this case, it seems that you are getting annoyed by responding to their topics but not seeing them in yours. I would suggest communication first. It might be that your friend simply has a hard time coming up with responses to your discussions and would happily respond to different sorts which they could tell you about. Not necessarily, but maybe.

I have that kind of friend too. Im wondering who's that friend of yours? I even look at your profile and saw some similar names on my friends list too. Anyway, I just ignore it and I still continue on responding to his/her discussion even until this day but upon reading this thread I am about to think and might even consider some suggestions of the respondents here.

i also have some friends in my list that i never saw him responded to my discussions. and just like you said, he only concentrates in starting and giving comments to his posts. i leave it there, maybe the next time i do a clean up of my list, this guy will be one to be deleted first. Hi there! If my friends don't respond to my post I wouldn't mind it. Anyways I do receive responses from others too. From time to time I receive responses from my friends and if I find their post interesting and usually they are I do respond on them also, but not at all times. I will not delete them also because I have made them my friends not mainly to have users to respond to my posts but because I want to be friends with them. When I first joined here I have no friends and they accepted my friend request and that really made me a part of mylot community. Now sometimes I do get friend requests and the makes my heart happy. There are a lot of members that only start discussions and do not respond. Then there are also members that start, and do not add comments to the responses in their discussions. myLot is very divirsified as far as how it's members work the site. This is all up to you as far as what to do. I would keep them if you respond to any of their discussions as you earn for responding as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I never check to see if my friends answer my posts or not. I only answer posts that interest me and I really kind of expect everyone to be the same I guess. Hehe, looking at my posts, most of my friends don't respond to most of my osts, and that's ok with me.

It's okay with me, I am not requiring my friends to responds to my discussions. If they want to response it's fine with me. There's a lot of people here like 138,000+ and I expect someone will response to me. Well, I don't mind. Every people here has a different interest and idea in this world. Thanks kaezy_kulet.

If I were you, I'll just ignore it. I'll keep that friend on my friends list and find new ones. It doesn't matter if that person doesn't respond on my discussions. I have more friends who are supporting me. Move on. HUGZ!

Well I also have lots of friends who do not respond but I give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they really find nothing to share with my post, or whatever reasons. Just like me, I also don't answer to any post even if posted by a friend if the topic does not really interest me and I really have nothing worthy to share. But I don't really think of deleting them. If I am in your situation, I won't delete them.. And besides it is find with me if they don't response to my discussion or help me for earnings.. All of us here in mylot are enjoying for making and responding discussion.. Another thing is we have our own choice on whether who we would like to used mylot... Just don't mind them..
