do you wear eyeglasses when reading?

yes I do.. right now I have eye glasses.. the words seems blurred if I have no glasses..I mean I use this reading glasses most often when I am on the computer reading or writing and when I am reading a book.. It;s hard when you are aging....

I am nearsighted but recently it turns out I am going to be farsighted too so if the print is small I have to take my glasses off. If its large print I am okay but seeing that I will probably be laying on the bed reading I usually take them off so when I fall asleep reading I don't bend my glasses LOL.

I wear glasses all the time so yea I do wear them when reading. I would rather wear my glasses rather than contacts.

I have to wear glasses or contacts all the time. That is just to see. So yep, that means reading too.I prefer contacts. After a while glasses slip when I am at a comfy angle in bed reading.

I do. Not only while reading, i use it regularly. Though it is short sight and i need not keep it for reading, doctor has advised me to use it full time.

I don't have to wear eyeglasses to read. It's not necessary. But usually I will wear eyeglasses when I watch TV because I am near-sighted. I love China

Yes, I wear reading glasses. I wear contacts and kept putting off using reading glasses. When it got to the point that I might need a magnifying glass, I gave it!

I wear glasses all the time. Without my glasses, I cannot see to find my glasses. I'm kind of a blindy bat. Some people only need glasses for reading though. The question is, do they wear them or not?

oh i wear glasses only on one occasion-- sunglasses. i'm afraid wearing glasses make cause eyes transform. and look like goldenfish eyes.

Exactly! At my age, eyeglasses is very much needed. Otherwise, my eyes will get hurt if i forced myself to read without wearing them. Protect your eyes while young. Happy reading!

hi, I think it is advisable to wear eyglasses on when reading a book if you were far-sighted. For sure you will find it really difficult to read a book, a magazine, or any reading journals if you didn't have your glasses on. For me it's different. I'm so near-sighted that wearing eyeglasses on when reading a book just gives me a headache. But maybe it's just me... But this is what I think anyway......

i wear them all the time whether i am reading, working on the computer, watching tv or whatnot. i have a lazy right eye, so i have to wear them or else i get a headache.

Hi shiloh_222. I wear corrective eye lenses when I read. I have worn glasses since my first day of first grade. They are a way of life for me. Even so, I usually wear contact lensbut I still need to add a pair of those little reader glasses, when I need to read. When I don't have my contact lenses on, I wear "regular" eyeglasses.

i must wear my eyeglasses because i am nearsighttedness,if i don't wear it ,i will see nothing,and i have worn glassed for several years, but i want to wear a glass to my computer ,because i want to avoid eye stain. happy my time in mylot

I wear my glasses all the time, even when reading, except in the evening when I sleep.

I do wear eyeglasses to read and I actually do wear them all the time. But when I am reading it lessens the eye strain.

I wear reading glasses, I have a pair in every room, I even carry a pair in my purse, the eye doctor told me the older you get the less your eyes can focus so writing close up. I don't wear everyday glasses, I can see real good far off.
