Unseen love

I fancy a guy who is from Dubai right now, he is also a Filipino. We haven't seen each other yet but we chat constantly and he calls me every now and then. I told him not to rush things between us and wait for the moment when we know ourselves enough. We have this line, WE WILL GET THERE.. IN TIME.. So we are not rushing things. He is planning to visit Philippines next year, so we might get together. By then, we will see how things will really work. For the meantime, we just enjoy each others talks and get to know more about each other. We both like it that way.

in my own opinion, i think that there really are feelings involved especially that people interact with each other and exchange their personal information, ideas, experiences and etc... and through this, people may become attached to the other person and may grow feelings for that person depending on how deep they've interacted... but for me, this love is incomplete 'coz physical presence is missing, and i think that perception through our senses is also important. but if these people say that they are really in love with their internet lover, they would find ways to meet up with them... :-)

the probability that the person is genuine is 50 : 50 ........ i think its highly risky cos you might get hurt if you're very much into it if he/she turns out to be fake...

You are totally wrong, I am a internet lover and i can say i love my gf alot and she does that too actually i just met her on net and now we are family friends still we havnt met we will soon i bet things are and gonna be perfect.

I think they can be sincere, but the thing is they don't really know the person. They just see the edited version in a picture and in the words they write to them. True love is when you can see all of their faults and mishaps but love them anyway. Gotta take the good with the bad. And those people who meet online, if they ever meet in person.... most are disappointed, because they have this person pegged as some perfect person, and it's just never going to happen like that.

i seriously disagree with you on this one. i fell in love with my bf over the internet and i didnt see him or get a description of him until after we fell in love because i thought we should get to know each other for our personalities instead of our looks. and we have been together for slmost 3 years. i know most of the time this doesnt happen but it happened to me so i know its possible. maybe i was just blessed but i really do not think its fair to say that this cannot happen.

i believe on it. why? cause my daughter had a bf which she havent seen in person. the difference is she happens to know the guy because of some friends. its a long story actually. but ill give you a hint. they guy courted my daughter.my daughters friend who are in taiwan talk to the guy and give him challenges. that if he can prove that the intention is real and serious he will pass and my daughter will be his gf. challenges was given for a week. different kind of challenges with other guys who like my daughter too. my daughters bf won obviously and he's a korean. the relationship started. its a coincidence that the guy has friends here in our country who studying. the guy gave my daughters cel no. and tell his friend to call her. they even had same school. can you imagine. so what happen everytime the friend of my daughter bf going back to korea for a vacation she will send gift for his bf same thing with the bf if the friend comes back in our country. they always chat and see each other in webcam. the guy even call and check my daughter is shes at home already. even helping her to do her assignment in school and let his friend sent it to my daughter. great guy ha. i dont know how many guys can do that. they are in their 4th year now as bf and gf. not kiss and embrace yet. but still they are happy and contented with the relationship. i just hope it will end up happy ending. cause i kinda like the guy for my daughter. even the guys family knows my daughter already. actually they wanna met her but of course it cant be because they have different country. but maybe time will come if they are matured and stable they will plan to get married and see each other at last. nice love story ha.
