em]lol[/em]YES! Here it is folks, a Handmade Scorpion Costume! I am making several Mortal Kombat Costumes this year, and Scorpion is the first one that is complete. GREAT DAY! I need help adding MORE photos, is that at all possible?
Any and all comments welcome! I need some critiques to make a better costume! And just incase you are wondering, I based this costume off of Mortal Kombat II, with a little mix of 3 (such as the yelloe patches instead of all yellow for the tabbard) to make it look classy. I also tried to make it look really expensive, how much would you be willing to pay for a Costume like this? I'll tell you how much it cost me to make it later.

You are making hand made costumes? WoW! This is really great! You have a real gem in your hand then and you can use it for your advantage anytime!
The costume that matt is wearing looking very cool as Scorpion. It also shows that you are good at making this kind of things and I really liked it. Since it is handmade, it should worth more than the ones which are sold at shops. However, I don't know so much about mortal combat and I don't know how much such costumes cost in the shops but I strongly believe a hand made one would worth more.
Adding more than one photo to a discussion is only possible if you send comments with your new photos. for example you can try sending multiple comments with the photos to me so everybody (an me) can see how the other photos are looking :)
Wish you a happy mylotting experience !

THANK YOU!!! Most halloween costumes like this, you have to buy for over a 100 bucks, the good authentic looking ones are always super expensive. you can find $40 costumes at hollywoodcostumesandparty.com, but they don't look like my costume does.

The costume is right but the guy wearing it isn't lol! I mean he looks too small for the costume or vice versa. It's not really much of a problem. I like the mask. It looks perfectly the same as the one in video games. I don't really know how costumes costs but it sure looks expensive to me! Do you join CosPlays? I think you should because you're an excellent costume designer!

Wow... that's pretty neat. I think it would have been neat if it was completely the version from Ultimate 3/Trilogy... complete with the skull mouthplate...but I understand using 2 as the design. How much would it take for a Cyrax costume? =P I don't know what I'd pay for either but I've been seeing cosplay items in the $50s and $100s on one and a few others in the several hundreds (probably gouging on some of them).
Ah! Before I forget Dreems...
GET OVER HERE!
And as a treat... Scorpion vs a classic opponent...

THANKS!!! And while these costumes WOULD sell for 50 dollars or more, it only cost $20 to make! So it's just proof that making your own costumes is always way better than buying one!
