Okay Brett Favre fans, what do you think about this trade? Will you still root for him or are you over it? For me, a longtime Jets fan, this is good news.I hope he can help us get to the playoffs. I aways liked Favre fan without being a Green Bay fan. How about you?

I wish your team the best of luck. However, I also feel sorry for your team because it will no longer be about your team but about Brett Favre. The media will only care about him and his play, not about the rest of the team.
I live close to the Green Bay area. Notwithstanding the fact that we're all a little nuts here when it comes to the Packers, one of the things that came out of the Favre era was a charity baseball game. Brett and Deanna Favre started this tradition, in which Packer players would play a baseball game for charity. Interesting, every year it was all about Favre: the media only focused on him. This year Donald Driver (an awesome receiver!) coordinated the charity game...and suddenly it was all about ALL the players and the charity they were playing for.
Now, to be honest, I do have to admit that there's a part of me that hopes Favre falls flat on his face. Otherwise we here in Wisconsin will never here the end from die hard Favre supporters of how the Packers' management were arrogant fools to let Favre go.

You know what? If they have a 24 hour Favre watch will be okay as long as The Jets at least have a winning record. That would be good for the Jets.In fact if some of the players don't have the New York spotlight may be able to play with all the press on Favre.
