Trying unsuccessfully to have a baby...

My husband and I have been trying for over 6 months to have a baby, with no luck. I've had two children with my first husband, and we always make sure that we make love on day 14 (my periods are regular). Our insurance won't cover fertility testing, nor do we want to spend upwards of $50,000 like a friend of ours did. Any suggestions for what we could do? (My husband keeps joking about flipping me upside down and shaking me!) Thanks for any suggestions! :)

Hi polgeram, I am with you as I am also TTC for a year now. I cried today seeing the preg result was BFN. I am supposed to get my AF yesterday, I am one day late still the test came out negative. It could have been so early, or my period will be here but late. I dont know. I started BBT charting, CM, and all that stuff. I bought a 25 pieces LH test from ebay cost 9.99 including shipping. They are very cheap and it works well. If i am not preg, we will try again with the help with OPK. Goodluck and baby dust praaying for you and me.

My AF came 34 days after the last. Very disappointed but then again there are more days and month to try again. I will keep you update.

Have you tried to see a doctor? If both of you are normal, then nothing to to be worried about. I have an office mate who is married for 2 years and is exerting all effort to get pregnant but nothing happens until she decided to quit her job and rest. She conceived after 3 months. Maybe you need some rest from stress of work if you're working or need to throw away things that makes you stressed. Makes me smile that you're trying to have a child while I'm trying not to have one. I already have two and I'm into natural method. Good luck! I hope you'll get pregnant soon.
