i would go for HP, i recommend it to all my friend and until now they still doesnt have any problems with them

I like the Dell and the Toshiba laptops. Some of the Dell laptops have installed Ubuntu linux in it, so they come at very cheap price. You can reinstall Windows afterward. On the other hand, the Toshiba laptops have the option to downgrade from Windows Vista to Windows XP if you don't like Windows Vista, like me. They also have good price.

I'd say that Acer's laptops r not that expensive

The best laptop is DELL, and next is HCL and you can also go for HP. Choose only one of these branded once,dont take other brands. It give trouble.
