forgot to tell everyone....

hey,i think we Chinese have noticed this special day long long ago because it is the day of the 29th Olympic Games,which is held in Beijing,China. we chinese are really excited about yesterday. and the opening ceremony is really marvelous.we'll never forget this event,it is the proud of china. and also yesterday there are many couples gOt married cause it is really a day signals wealth and lucky. take care. special days.

Hello venkygec, I realized the special date as it was the opening of Olympic Beijing 2008 too. For me, there's nothing much special about the date in my life. That morning, when I was driving to work, I listened to a radio deejay who came across an article about a woman who was born on Aug 8, met a partner who was born in Aug too and got married on Aug 8. She has two cars with 888 as a number plate and a baby who was born in Aug. She lives in a house number 8, and the street number is 8/8. I guess, that's too much coincidence, right?

I noticed it actually, but there was no significant event or news happened yesterday, that's why I considered yesterday as an ordinary day. They say, 08-08-08 would be something lucky, but i was sad. One of my coworker was terminated from work. Besides, i had a migraine and I was vomiting the whole time. Wasn't that lucky, right?

Yesterday was a special day for everyone. But nothing special happened in my life. The internet was out the whole day and I could not mylot or get in touch with any of my friends.

There was a lady here who had a baby at 8:08 in the morning. So that kid was born at 8:08 of 08,08,08. I wonder if that kid will have a favorite number and if so what do you think it might be? I am sure there were others but we had at least one right here in our own town.

The China Olympics start 8/8/08. You really made me think. I had seen it on commercials, but for what? Then I remembered. Maybe they figured it would be lucky for them. Take care

Hi Venkygec, I noticed. It was my friends birthday and as well as a present I put a Euro millions lucky dip into her birthday card thinking it might be lucky but I haven't heard that she has won so maybe not. If going on numerolgy though 08/08/2006 would be the lucky day two years ago eh! Ellie :D
