i loved it and im from scotland in the UK. maybe its just because the bagpipes were being played they were amazing :P xxx

Thank you for your respond. you like bagpipes? you dan play it yourself? I'a music lover but only good at playing chinese traditional musical instruments. I seldom play or even touch a Westurn musical instrument.

Yes bagpipes are the traditional Scottish Instrument. I can't play them though they are very difficult. But i do play guitar :) x

I would have to say that it was GREAT!! Even though they are saying that some of them were computer generated...it still RAWKED though!!

The on-the scene view must be more wonderful, I believe. TV set is much smaller anyway.

elcomme to the wonderful world of mylot harry. i think in every country that the olympics are held they make it very specially. every country has a different culture and the country is making their best to prove to the world that it is worth it to celebrate the olympics in their country. yes i enjoyed watching the ceremony. good work china!!!

Hi friend! Thanks for your warm-hearted welcome. I did love the ceremony, did enjoy watching it very much, though someone of my friends didn't think that way. It was somewhat long of course, there were so many countries, and so many athlets after all.

I was amazed at the culture of the Chinese, and the performance awed me. The ending was great, where the person (can't remember his name)looked like he was flying in to light the Olympic torch to start the games. These games have been great, and despite all of the protests about China, they have run a great Olympics. The ceremony was great, and I have enjoyed these Olympics the most.

Thank you for your kindly response. the person is LiNing, a great gymnastics star in the 1980'. He got many many gold medals in Olympic Games.

It is a wonderful ceremony. But the TV can't show the wonderful scene completely. I believe if I can be there I will be moved more.

yeah, it really made a tremendous stir and awoke an ancient nation's pride. i appreciated the peace uttering in it best.
