Would you rather go malling or go to the beach?

I have gone to beaches. Our relatives love to go the beach often, but sometimes I didn't like the feeling of being on the beach because after being on the seawater, I find myself so tired. The travel adds up to the feeling because before you could reach the beach, you travel for an hour and then you go home traveling again for an hour, makes me dizzy. Maybe, I'd go to the beach once or twice a year only.
I'd rather go malling specially if it's summer. It's cold inside, you got to shop p or window shop, watch movies, eat, etc. and most of all it's within the city. Even though I don't have enough money to buy things, I get to unwind. It's better than getting dizzy and tired.
It's just me. How about you?

I rather go malling. Because it is easier to do than bring my kids to the beach. And i dunno how to swim. I will not really enjoy. Except the scenery is good. It is relaxing but hard to do.

Kids, kids, kids. Hyperactive, inquisitive kids (LOL). For sure, you will not enjoy because all you'll do out there is follow where your kids go. I guess a picnic near a lake is much relaxing than on the beach. I appreciate your response izathewzia. Good evening.

I would prefer to go to the beach, take a walk along the pier, walk on the soft sand and look out to sea at the two islands and piece of land that goes out into the ocean. A couple of weeks ago a fire burned half the pier down so it is lucky that the other half of it has been reopened. I enjoy taking my dogs to race up and down the sand dunes at a rural beach near my home. There is another village beach fairly close to where I live that has a great view of the town beach, the piece of land that juts out into the sea and the two islands. Behind it is a church on a hillside and it commands a fantastic view. I like to shop for souvenirs when I am overseas but shopping in my home country is not as enjoyable as going to the beach.

I would rather go to the beach. It's probably because I never get to go to the beach. We used to have the whole entire family go to nags head every summer for a vacation but we don't do that anymore. I haven't been to a beach in a while though, because of money reasons. I would like to go soon. The closes one to me is about two hours away. Whenever we go we usually stay in a hotel for the night, sometimes we will stay for a couple of days rather than just going for one. We try to make a little vacation out of it.
I like going to the mall but I have never been one that loves it. Sometimes I get sick of all the walking around shopping for things, even though I am a girl. I like shopping but just to a degree. I sometimes get aggravated if I can't find things and just want to go home.

Malling, that is cute. I have never heard of anyone call going to the mall malling before. Anyways it depends on my mood whether I prefer to go to the mall or to the beach.
If I have money to spend I enjoy going to the mall, browsing and finding some good bargains. I usually will go to the mall with my sisters or friends. I love to shop with a couple people because then you have more opinions to bounce a cute top off of or an outfit. Sometimes when I shop by myself I get something that I think looks cute and then when one of my friends sees it for the first time they are like "what in the world is that and why did you buy it?"
When I don't have a lot of money or if I feel like I'm lookin a little pale then I will head to the beach. The beach is about an hour for me as well. I think you are so tired when you drive home because the sun always zaps the energy right out of you! When I get home from the beach I love to take a quick shower to get rid of all the sticky sand and then just relax on the couch and watch a movie or something. What do you usually do when you get home from the beach?

I would rather go to the beach. I love to walk along the beach and have the water splashing on my feet as I walk and think or just relax on the beach with a book or collecting shells, rocks or drift wood. I love the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. Makes me feel like all is peaceful in the world even if I know it isn't. As for malling nah I hate to shop.

hi djoyce!
it really depends. if the beach outing would be whole day to overnight and with friends, then i would go. but i don't go to the beach that much during summer, or even during other season, because its expensive and its hot during summer and my skin easily gets dark. ^__^;; during summer i would prefer too to go malling and cool down. ^__~ and i think i would prefer to swim in a swimming pool than in a beach.

I would rather go malling often than go to the beach, which I already do anyways. I don't know how to swim and you're right about getting nausea when travelling back and forth. Plus I am scared of too much sun exposure. It makes one get so many wrinkles quickly. I got by in a year without going to the beach once. Sometimes it's too expensive to travel too. But if I had the chance I would go at least twice a year too.

i dont have any beaches in my city n had to travel long for other cities where beach is available. when we go out for a trip n if we find any beaches there we would surely go there have fun for sometime n come back, the last beach we visited was the beach in Amsterdam but i didnt like it there as i felt the water was not so good n felt as though its dirty but on the seeshore we sat for sometime n watching the beach, it was nice.
the most fun i had experienced was at kerala when i had been there for my honeymoon
n it was nice fun there but so hot.
so whenever we go to beaches its very rare n enjoy most probably if also start visiting again n again even we might feel boredup.
i enjoy going out on shopping, roaming around, eating n also movies on theatre everything .

I like to go to the beaches as I love the scenery and the nature I saw when I'm at the beach. But that is one of I think I can call disadvantage if we go to beaches, the travel going there is really quite tiring and exhausting because of the long hour of traveling. In that way going to mall is more advisable to do more often than going to beach.
Have a nice day..

Hello there djoyce71!
I love the beach! When I was younger, I lived with my maternal grandparents because my parents had to work. Their house is some meters away from the beach. So you can just imagine how often I would be in the beach. During summer break, I would also go to my paternal grandparents place which is also few minutes walk away to the beach. If I have more time to spare, I would rather be in the beach than in the mall.

I have plenty of access to both and I would prefer something else over both of these. But, since the question requires me to choose one, I would have to say the beach. At least I can lay in the sun and try to relax. I hate the sand that gets stuck in places that you can't get a tan legally and the water is just creepy unless it's just the right times of the year. Sounds bad, but compared to mobs of people walking in all directions, people crashing into you as they try to cut between you and some other people walking in a different direction and not even slowing down to apologize, kids screaming and crying because they can't ride the horsey, kiosk people trying to sucker you into purchasing whatever they are selling and the ladies in the department stores that spray you with whatever liquid in a pretty bottle they have on sale... Yea! I'll take the beach!

Seems really bad. I have never experienced that in malls here, except on holidays where influx of people is large. Well, to each his own.
You might want to go vacationing with your family on a highland overlooking the city. I have experienced that here, it's great! Fresh air and great food!

If I have the opportunity, I'd choose the beach anytime.I live along a national highway so it would be nice to leave behind the noise of honking horns, screeching brakes, exploding tires, and roaring motors.I would gladly welcome the sound of waves crashing on the shore, the salty smell of the sea,the feel of smooth sand on my feet, and watch the majestic beach sunset amidst paradise. That would be perfect.I do not live near the beach nor is my place close to one but malls we have aplenty so I can go to one anytime.

I'd rather go to the beach, it's much cheaper than malling and I'd rather be outside in the sun and water than walking around crowded stores in the freezing air conditioning
