Hehe... some people said, a woman who wears skirt looks better and feminine, compare to the one who wears pants... Actually i admit that. But for me, wearing pants is more comfortable and safe compare skirt. I admit that the position we sit also should be properly if wearing skirt... while pants, you can sit in any position. Hehe...
But because of that, i think that i may become like man, since pants usually for man. Yeah, thats what comes to my mind...
What do you think?

Yes, you could be right for your freedom, but I think that wearing what makes you feel comfortable will be good provided you do not look odd in the eyes of the society. We should be role models to others for that matter live an example life.

Clothes don't make a person...that's my opinion. Its what you carry inside. Ya me too wearing pants is more comfortable and safe.....one can just run faster in pants. But that doesn't mean I don't wear skirt. I have and I do wear skirts too.

Since we are raised in a particular situation we think that it looks feminine to wear skirts. And I also think that. But hundred years later it may be different.

i think it's in the way we carry ourselves that makes us look feminine. we can be wearing dresses or skirts but walks, sits or stands without poise or grace but on the other hand, we can be wearing jeans or slacks but carry ourselves with much poise and grace.

I don't really mind wearing pants, or shorts, for me I want to do things comfortably and it is what's important.

I say if the woman does not feel comfortable wearing a skirt then why should she. There are other ways that a woman can wear a skirt and still look and feel feminine. By the style of her shirt the way she wears her hair or her makeup and the way she just carries herself.

Some women look better in pants, and some look better ins skirts. It all depends on you and in some women, certain pants look better than others. I for one cannot wear the cut offs or what they called pedal pushers and I cannot wear shorts that come almost to my knee, they have to be short shorts and I can wear regular pants.
And for skirts and dresses, they have to be around or just a little above my knees or I look dowdy. So in summer I wear skorts, and in winter pants unless I go to church then I wear a skirt and sweater or dress in the summer.
You can look feminine in pants, it is the top that counts.

Hi manya,
I don't think so pants are just for men...There are many women who looks good in pants with a nice top..I prefer pants too in almost every activity I have..I feel more comfortable!
I also wear skirts but not often..But, I have a lot of friends who love skirts better than pants, they are used to it and for them it is the most comfortable one!
So, i would say, depends on what we used to wear!

Hi manya
I like wearing both, I also like wearing jean with my convers. I could be feminie and I could also be a tomboy. Pants look very nice with heels, nice blouse. Skirts the same way. it's now more of how you feel, you see more ladies wearing pants than before. If you are going to wear a dress or skirt, yes you have to be careful how you sit, it's going to look good if you open your legs while wearing a dress. (maybe to the person that is sitting across from you, you never know). And wearing pants is a safer way. As you said with pants you can sit anyway you like.

We are long past doing things for others instead of ourselves, aren't we? I opted for the comfort route after many years of pleasing businesses, bosses, men, etc. I decided it wasn't worth it. The skirt does not affect my IQ and the way I am or work, so forget about it, is my philosophy! Comfort every time!

true. it depends on us on what we wanna wear. does not matter if it is skirt or a pair of pants. what's important is we like what we wear and we love what we wear. there are many ways on being a feminine type, too when in jeans. you are right, starchild, it all depends on how you carry yourself.

I think it just depends on the woman's personal preference. I myself haven't worn a skirt or dress in a long time except for special occasions. Even on special occasions I wear a nice pair of slacks sometimes.
I believe that a woman can look feminine no matter what she wears. If a woman has a good character and attitude she can pull off anything. Wearing nice shoes can look good also with dress pants or a skirt or dress.

When I am at work, I have to wear pants because it is part of my uniform. When I am at home, I wear whatever is comfortable. When it is warm in the house I wear either a housedress or shorts, when it is cooler, I have on pants.

no way...
there are 'sexy pants' i'd like to call em, that will make you look more feminine that some skirts I see some women wear.
I believe being feminine is how you carry yourself, and how you feel about yourself despite of what you're wearing. Pants or skirt shouldn't make a difference. The only thing that should make a difference is how you feel about yourself and that is all that should matter anyways... ^_^

Dear friend,
I had seen in Scotland there are people with bagpipers worn with skirts. I had seen that men in a music band in Scotland wear skirts. I do not see that women who wear skirts do look more feminine, I do have seen those who has a feminine body structure is more suited with any dress. In our place in India most of women wear sare (a traditional dress of India) and very of them I could see that even in sares women is feminine I hope the feminine more reflexes in their body gestures and behaviors and dressing do have a limited role. If there are women who wear skirts, but walks like males. Hence I feel feminine is much of one’s body and their body movements as lady.

In my mind, I also think that women in skirts look more feminine especially when they are walking and sitting. Women who wear skirts look more gentle in the sense that they would walk slowly with soft spoken, and all their acts would be slow and polite. But a woman in pants would look more independent and strong. However,I prefer to wear pants, lol. It's more easier for me to move about.

i dont think so, it depends on how you carry it and what clothes are do you feel comfortable. i dont wear skirt cause i dont have car. it feels uneasy if you guys will look at you if you sit down on a train. you dont know what is he looking for. specially if its too short. most of the time i wore pants and blouse. office attire. its more comfortable. just choose the nice colors and texture of the cloth to use in your clothes. it will do good also.
