What do you do when you see a beggar?

Hi there snebxu66 how are you yes i did give one the other day he wanted money for making a phone call and he did i saw him use the public phone and when he finished he said he really apperatiate i said your welcome take care happy postings.

I don't give money to beggars, because if you do you'll just make him a parasite and begging will become his career. Alms is not a solution to poverty but the real help from the government or institution to alleviate their lives. If it would happen to just like what happened to you, I would just shake him off and turn around. You cannot expect a beggar to be civil.

Before he hugged your leg,you should give him money.Then it'll be civilized.When the same thing happen to me,Iusually gave the beggar one yuan and shake him off.

i will feel very sad because the begger is a human being and to witness a person like that...to become almost like an animal really makes you appreciate your life more. whenever i see a begger i will try to be as nice as i can. but mostly i won't give too much money because some of the beggers are actually ordinary people trying to ask for money without working. we should discourage them from begging for a living and instead, try to make themselves useful to the community and themselves.=)

Normally i wont give money to beggers.. but no reason behind this... i didnt get such feeling to give money to beggers,cant find the reason why i am like this
