After knowing that i have high grades on this particular subject, some of the people i thought were my friends at the same time classmates start to compete with me. Asking what my score is all the time. What makes me sad is that, they would say that I am like this and like that because I have high grades. I really felt bad because they're like always highlighting that i have high grades etc and i now saw their true colors. They were just there because of my grades and I felt so used..I'm so tired

What do I do? I keep on getting high (if not even higher) grades and if they don't like it, I just don't care.
If they keep on doing it you can very well rub it in their face and say they are like this and like that because they can't get the same grades.

It's normal for students to do so.. Because they dun wanna be scolded by their parents.. ANd in the end, their parents will ask and compare them to u.. haha =D
U being a student should know that, and maybe u are lucky because u always have high grades ^_^

We're in the same boat, if that's the case. Not so long ago, I had friends whom I've thought would become one of my best I've ever had, we hang out very often, laugh together, eat with our mouths full and have a heart-to-heart talk, but as the quarter ends, I see their true colors. When we just had the quarter exam, they ask me what my score is and compare it with their scores and when I got higher grades than them, they tell me that I was cheating or something like that, which I'm not, but on the other hand, if I had lower scores than them (which happens once in a blue moon), they all celebrate and say 'I've outcored the genius. Hooray for me!' or something like that. And I hate that feeling. Very much. I hate those kind of people...

Competition among classmates is very commonplace. In fact, i believe it is very helpful in many ways since it gives you the incentive to keep up the good work and impression you have given to others. They will now expect a steady high grade level of you, this in turn motivates you to maintain your level of success though it might have some negative effects sometimes.
