Annoying Ad Drove Me Nuts...

Last night I got such a headache b/c of an ad on MyLot. It’s the ad for Nintendo Wii and it pops up and a woman comes on saying, “congratulations, you’ve won blah, blah, blah”. I was sorting through discussions and this ad kept popping up. What was so annoying was I was watching Buffy in another browser window and everytime the ad came on I had to pause the TV show and mute the PC. I don’t know why ppl have to make ads like that. If I’m interested in it, I’ll go look if not leave me alone. I tried using pop-up blockers but it didn’t work. I contacted MyLot and I don’t know if they’ll do anything but maybe they will. There used to be another ad, I don’t remember what for, but it was black and white and flashed really fast. It was so distracting and annoying not to mention it bothered my eyes that I couldn’t stand to have a page open that had it on there. I contacted MyLot about it and I haven’t seen it anymore. I don’t mind the ads b/c I know their necessary to keep MyLot going but I really dislike the flashing ones or the talking ones. Do these kinds of ads bother you?
