I'm in a long distance relationship with a guy named Sonny. We've been together for almost nine months now. Yes, I can say that I've had some issues with being faithful, but now I've settled down and decided that he's the only one for me. Now I know some of you are going to tell me that this probably won't work out. After all, he lives in Arizona and I live in North Carolina. Many times I've felt like it wasn't going to work, but until you have been in a relationship like me and Sonny have, you can't really understand the good points of long distance relationships. We have gotten to know each other on such a deeper level. I see other couples and I they don't express nearly the amount of love me and Sonny do. Sonny has really saved me from myself and I don't know where I would be now if it weren't for him. He's pretty much my best friend. I tell him everything and he knows me better than I know myself. I have every intention of marrying him and I truly believe that will happen. I can't imagine my future without him. It's like we were meant to be together. The strangest thing about my feelings for him is that I trust him completey. I hardly ever have doubts. I know that's dumb because I've screwed up before so why wouldn't he? He lives a thousand miles away so why wouldn't he cheat on me? But I trust him. I never trust my boyfriends either, so the fact that I feel like I can trust him even though he lives so far away is pretty amazing. Sonny has been through so much and I look up to him for that. He is the most amazing person I have ever met and yes, I am in love with him. Head over heels in love with him. I've never felt this way before and it's the most wonderful feeling in the world. :)

GOOD LUCK for both of you! I had a long distance relationship with my hubby for years before we finally got married. Due to financial difficulties, we could only be together years after we fell in love he he he...Btw, I'm from Indonesia and he's from Finland and right now we've finally together for over 1,5 years and I hope we still have YEARS and YEARS and YEARS together.
I understand what you mean about the relationship being in a deeper level than other people, since that's what happened to us too. :-))))

After everything you have been through, you deserve to find someone that brings you such happiness. After our so-called father and I had our spat, Michael supported me and kept me sane. I hope the best for you and Sonny because you really seem happier on so many different levels.

Hm! This must have developed while you were away Cait (or maybe I've stayed away too long). You do seem like you are in love and happy. I'll say that this situation can be difficult, but if you and Sonny are both feeling the same thing, it can work out. Don't belittle yourself too much either Cait, as there have been other things you've been through - and you prevailed. I definitely think you deserve every bit of this, and even better. So, I'll close with the best of luck for both of you.
An "Ai-Ai Gasa" for you plus a heart
