well this weekend i treated myself to a glossy womans magazine, you knw the ones to do with fashion, celebs, health, beauty, make up etc. Well i chose one in particular becuase it had a free book with it too. Having flicked though it a bit i think it would have been a waste of money if not for the books becuase i kid you not at least half of that magazine is adverts! About the first 10 or more pages are solely adverts, and there are loads of double page spreads of adverts and throughout most of the magazine there will be one page of good reading, one page of an advert. Do you think thse glossy magazine contain too many adverts? They are not cheap, the one i bought was £3.40 and i think it's a bit of a rip off considering i've paid half that money for adverts! I will think twice before purchasing a glossy magazine again.

I stopped buying glossies when I got mitts on the Internet. You got the same amount of reading and adverts for free. What's better? You can block the adverts and let in the reading, still free, and give a good rude gesture to the people who want to spam your experience!
