Did you know that Mcdonalds uses Transfats in their food?

California and New York are the only 2 states that have outlawed transfats in these types of restaurants. McDonalds was forced to change their recipes to adhere to health guidelines.
Don't get me wrong, I will eat at McDonalds maybe once a year. I will have a craving for a Big Mac and I just can't help it.
However, being that I am more health concious these days, I won't touch the stuff.
Most of the time I see extremely obese people eating there with their obese children. Imagine how hard it must be for these kids to go to school and be ridiculed because their parents can't cook a healthy meal for them or even make good choices for themselves.
It makes me want to jump on the treadmill and exercise more so I don't turn into one of these people.
I do, however, know that you can be overweight and still be healthy. That's, of course, if you stop going to eat at fast food restaurants.

Thats awful. You think by now they would have gotten rid of trans fat. Your right it's sad that some kids are overweight these days. The only thing I really get at McDonald's is grilled ranch snackwrap because it's one of the more healthier things on the menu. I just try avoiding fast food by all means because I've been trying to lose weight before classes start again.

I've had the snackwrap, it's quite good. One thing that was really interesting that I found out about Mcdonalds was that their salads have more than double the amount of fat grams than a Big Mac. That's crazy!

I love chipolte. They have great choices that are quite healthy for fast food restaurants.
