Congratulations on your BE, well done, what an achievement. I would personally contact the company and say you have recieved the offer letter but haven't recived confirmation of when you start and in case it hadn't been received was just checking with them whther or not it had been sent. This way they will have to respond with either the offer letter or copy of if already sent. Good luck. Ellie :D

Hi venkat, Now a days its very difficult to get into software companies , somehow by talent you got through some companies will make you wait for 6 to 7 months.. i have met a girl from my college she said that she has been selected by th same TCS but she was not sent any offer later so far another girl with the similar case is waiting for Infosys so it happens now a days do wait for somtetime with paitence , i have one bro who had got his placement in Noida and during the meanwhile of the waiting period he was engaged with some other work.. if your really impatient then you can swtich over to any other IT companies of your intrest.. If you have real responsibility to support your family go ahead with another good job..All the very best for your future..

If you got placed back in April and you still haven't gotten the actual job, then perhaps it's time to start looking for another job. First though, I would contact this company and ask them what's going on and if you still have a position with them. Who knows, maybe they did send you a letter and it got lost in the mail. Hey me to of same category... Placed in Wipro.. Yesterday oly got mail saying tat my joining date will be by January... We cant do anything man... Its not easy to get another job... Jus stick to it... U ll be called between jan to march... Hope for the best... Take Care....

look i am in IT field myself. i also work with one MNC in india. we know the exact situation, there are slowdown on IT market. but we hope the situation will not be the same. also try to look out for any if you can get some in off campusing.Many companies are just making the joining dates away. also from where you have done BE? The real problems are due to slow down , companies are facing problems in placing new people to projects. so many are on bench. its overhead for companies.

I work part time while keeping my eyes open for a better job. You should stay active and do something while waiting. I apply for any job that looks like something I would like to do full time. The ideal job I would like to have is far away from my home. So I will not drive that far as long as the price of gas is so high. Plus I like being close to my children and their school. I see them instead of spending my time driving back and forth to work.

keep looking. my hubby was told he was a very good fit for a job, had a second interview and waited...heard nothing, then finally called them - they had hired someone else! dont cast your hopes on this one job!

i really don't know about that friend but i am doing B.E in computer science too i did not start my first year.it starts on 16 of this month.

Well maybe you should start looking around to other compaines. I mean you cant just sit around waiting for something that may not even come your way. I am sure you got some bill you need to pay and things that you want to do. So why not in the mean time find a job with another computer compainy. When you get the joining letter for the company you are waiting for now then take it. But it all comes back to what you want to do.

Dear friend, I hope everything will get well soon there is lot more time and utilise this time and try for another job and if possible try for better job and if got join that job and on the way if you get the already placed job make your own choice. I hope it your own wish to select the best you find that you are fit for and I hope it is better to try for better job rather just waiting for a job.

if its a long time i think u need to start searching another one in the meanwhile if u get a better one u can join n earn n also get experienced .
