When I cook for myself, I will add a little water and the vegetables will be done quickly. It can save gas and time. But my wife don't like to add any water in it, or the dish will be not delicious. Do you add water when stir frying vegetables?

I've tried adding water to stir fries, but I've found that it usually results in the veggies being too done for my tastes. Just a bit of oil and a good cover to steam them with is usually all I do, and they cook very quickly without having that boiled veggie taste. All depends on your preferences, I suppose.

I don't normally add water whenever I cook stir fry veggies I always put a little bit of soy sauce to make it taste better! But I do agree that adding a little bit of water will help the vegetable cook faster!

For tastier stir-fried vegetables trying cooking them in a little bit of Italian salad dressing. That will solve you liquid issue and add a lot of flavour. Use as much or as little as you desire. It is healthy too.

I add just a little water so I don't have to use so much oil. It's a healthier way to keep the veggies from sticking/burning.

Sometimes i add water when i am cooking them, and sometimes i dont. I mostly add a littel vegetable oil or canola oil to the dish just to give it a little bit more flavor to the dish. But i dont see where water would have hurt the meal. If anything it would have made the veggies a little bit more tender.

I will add a little bit of water when I am cooking, it helps to steam the vegetables better. I personally will make the chicken with a little bit of oil and then add the veggies and some water to help with the cooking process.
