Here I go again with the picture questions. Those of you who are mothers and grandmothers; do you have the same number of pictures of all your kids? My mom didn't have a camera when my youngest sister was little, so there are fewer photos of her. She told me that when I had kids, make sure that there are lots of pictures of them all. I've tried to do this, but I know that there are more pictures of my oldest since I had more time when there was only him. How about the rest of you?

Impossible to try to keep it equal. Although, the older kids usually has more photos because they've been around longer. Plus you really don't have as much time to take photos with your second. There are more baby pictures of my son than daughter. But now that they are old, I have more photos of her - she's just so cute and more photogenic. Although, my son can be a ham. I say, just do the best you can.

I think it's hard to keep it equal....I have a little granddaughter who lives around here and I am with her alot so I have tons of pictures....while vacationing in Arizona with my daughter and her family I told her to take a picture of me while I was scrapping with my granddaughter...she said...it's about time you get pictures of all of them instead of the just the little one....I told her that if they lived close that I would have more pictures! I try to take tons when I am with them...but I can't even come close to how many I have of the littlest one! LOL

Yout remind me of my Mom. When my oldest nephew was born he was the only grandchild on either side of the family, and he and my sister lived with my parents for a year until she married. Between both sets of grandparents and two doting aunts there are more pictures of him than any other of her kids. Now, we are fortunate with the digital technology to be able to send pictures back and forth with ease. If Mom wants prints I can just send them to her local Walmart for her to pick up.

I don't for a few reasons - the main being I have step kids and they aren't around very often. When they are around I try to take a lot of pictures of them but most of the time they aren't intrested. My daughter has thousands of picutres. In fact I was going through my pics last week putting them on discs and was like WOW there are a lot of pictures of her!!!

I have more of my oldest daughter than I do of the youngest one. It just seemed as though there was more money and more time to do those things. Now I really try to do a lot with my daughter and get photos of everything. I also think it was easier to just drop the film off and have it developed than to go to these machines where you have to do it yourself from the digital camera. I love my camera, but it is not in my schedule most of the time to have the time to stand there and get them printed and stuff.

I only have one so far but am pregnant with my second. With my daughter(also being a photographer I am a little crazy) I took birth pictures of course and then I took a new nice picture every month for three months, then again at 6 months, then a year and so forth. But then at certain activities, holidays, playing outside etc. I don't think it is the number of pictures but that you catch important moments. I took a lot of pictures of my daughter with her dolly's and for my next I will take with his favorite toys or activities. Just keep your camera in good access to take them as needed. Good luck.

Congratulations on the pregnancy. I loved being pregnant (aside from the nine months of nausea and weariness). I, too, love the candid shots. I got some great ones today of my baby playing with his toes. I almost caught him rolling over, but I was taking a picture of my two-year-old feeding her baby doll with the baby's bottle. There was water everywhere, but at least that cleans up easily.

When I had my first child, I had more time and more money to get those photos developed. I have so many pictures of my younger children, but no money to get the pics developed. I have to do a little at a time, but yes to answer your question I have more pics of my firstborn child.
