Being from the United States I have never heard of Pinoy Lechon Kawali. So I was curious to know just what it is. I did some research and found out that Lechon Kawali is boiled then fried pork belly. I looked at some pictures too. I don't think that I would like it because it has way to much fat.

angelyka, i do like it with mang tomas, too. but i still prefer it better with soysauce and vinegar mixed together.
anyway, jhordie, my boyfriend is swedish. when i cooked lechon kawali for him, he did enjoy it. i really plan on cooking this dish again soon.

i love lechon kawali. it is really delicious especially when dipped in soysauce-vinegar combo and eaten with rice!
now that i am living in sweden, it is one food i really miss eating. i tried making it here one day but just can't make it perfect. that's why i promise myself that when we go home next year for a vacation in the philippines, i will surely eat lechon kawali there!

Lechon Kawali taste good, but only a second place to Lechon Baboy to me. Taste good with Mang Thomas.
