yes, but I don't. I don't have a pool and even when I lived in the apartment it had pools I still didn't go swimming, I did a few times but it wasn't a regular activity.

I use to swim everyday when I was a teenager. I taught swimming in order to get a free pass to the public pool across the street from where we lived. I loved every minute. I also did alot of diving from the high diving board as well as the lower board. I did teach our kids how to swim and how to dive although none of them decided to take it further. I've been swimming in lakes, oceans, public and private pools over the years.

I learned how to swim at a very early age. My mother made sure that my sister and I had lessons. I love the water. Even if I'm not actually "swimming" I love to just relax in the water. it is nice to know how to swim, and to know all of the safety precautions necessary, in water. Every child should have swimming lessons.

I have a pool, but I only swim in it sometimes when friends are over. I know how to swim, and I like swimming, I just lack the motivation to go out there myself. Mostly because my hair gets all gross and I have to wash it right after. And then I am tracking water through the house (and it is a very COLD trip from the pool to my room or the bathroom), and then I have to wash and dry the clothes, otherwise they will get moldy and gross.

I know how to tread water and swim a few strokes and float - that's about it. My son is taking lessons at the moment and is doing quite well.

My mother was terrified of water...lakes or pools so the first thing she did was to make sure we all had swimming lessons and learned how to swim almost to the expert level. I am so glad she did for some of the biggest enjoyment has come from being in or on the water!

Yes my mom took me to learn when I was 5. We never had a pool though. My brother fell in one when he was 4 and he was terrified to learn so my parents were never comfortable with having a pool.

Yes I know how to swim. I learned it during my childhood when we used to go to the nearest beach in our place. Then during my teenyears I took formal training in swimming at YWCA. During my younger years, I swim a lot. Nowadays I do not swim that much.

I don't know how to swim. Every time I nag my boyfriend to teach me,but he refuses to do so. Sometimes I feel upset when I go to the beach with a bunch of friends,it's always I am the one who sit on the beach seeing them to have fun. Sigh. I must find a chance to get myself to swim, lol.

I know how to swim because I grow up near the ocean. Everyday me and my friends would go swimming.
