Does anyone know what happened that Shannon Doherty left the show? Was it on bad terms? She was only on the first three seasons, but she played a huge roll in the making of this series. Also on the last episode they brought in every person that has been of any significance to this show. They either were physically part of it or they showed their picture. She wasn't included in the show or the pictures. What did she do that they didn't even show her picture???? Just curious. I hope someone knows.

I heard that it was because her and the girl that played phoebe did not get along very well. They worked together for a while but it got to a point where they couldn't get along and Shannon doherty was the one they kicked off. As for not showing her on the show, I would guess that she refused to do it, but it would have been nice to see her in another one of the shows.

Well, Alyssa Milano (the one who played Phoebe) is one of the producers of Charmed. So, I doubt they would ever kicked her off anyways. After all her and Holli Marie Combs (Piper) are two of the main producers. I just figured they could have at least shown her picture from when she was on the show. It didn't have to be anything new. Every other main character was on the last episode except her. They must of had a really bad fight for them not to ever show her picture again.

I love the show, and the reason she left was because of greed. After noticing how important she was to the show, she decided to test just how important she was by claiming that since she was the head witch, she needed a raise: so she demanded one. The producers refused, so she quit "Charmed", and was replaced with Rose McGowan shortly after. It was all over the news back when it happened. Word has it that every show or movie, or whatever she was in nad basically very irritated people because of how snobby she is.

That's right! Actually, it also had to do with the fact that she and Alyssa Milano were not getting along, too.
Like you said, she thought she had some leverage because of the premise of the show (Power of Three) and demanded a raise going into negotiations for the 4th season. This angered Milano, who was one of the producers, and stories of conflicts started to arise.
Personally, I think it had a little to do with everything: she was not getting along well with some of the cast and crew and her demand for a higher salary kind of put the fine-point on sending her out the door. One of the executive producers was also the exec producer for 90210, which Doherty left under nearly identical circumstances a few years earlier. At the time, Aaron Spelling said he would never work with her again. This led to a lot of good press for Charmed when it premiered, as they had supposedly mended their relationship.

she was sacked, my other half says she was sacked cos shewas too bossy, apparently shes not that nice a person.

I always heard she wasn't a nice person, but after three seasons I figured maybe it was something else. I still wish they would have at least showed a picture of her on the last episode. The can't exclude her because she was too important.

I've heard different stories but the one that keeps popping up is that she and Alyssa weren't getting along. Shannon didn't like all the drama that was going and decided to leave. As part of her leaving and the reason for not seeing her again, I heard that they would not use her picture or anything like that on the show.
It's a shame because I really liked Prue. I was sad to see her go.
