I'm not sure about everyone, but where I used to live(Southern Maryland), pretty much everyone loved Mountain Dew. You couldn't step outside without seeing a few people drinking it.
I love the stuff myself, but my question is simple: Is Mountain Dew this popular everywhere?

I live in the northern part of the US (namely Minnesota) and Mountain Dew is EXTREMELY popular. In fact, next to Diet Coke, I think Mountain Dew is probably the second most popular soda (or "pop" as we call it here). It's everywhere. And I'm not going to lie, I absolutely LOVE drinking it!

I didn't know Southern Maryland was such a cool place to be. Mt. Dew has been my choice since the "Yahoo Mt. Dew" days. I've lived all over the country, some places it seemed like everyone drank it. Other places it seemed like I had a hard time finding it.

Here in the other part of the planet, we don't drink much Mountain Dew, among the sodas, Coca-cola is pretty much drink with everyone, you can see in the fastfoods and even served at home. I also like the taste of Mountain Dew too its refreshing especially on a hot summer day, but its not really that much in circulation here in my country.
Have a refreshing day to you, smiles and do the dew !

Where I am, it's not that popular. People here usually drink Coke. Coke Regular to be exact, it's probably the most famous soda around.. But we also have local brands which are very popular with the masses, mainly coz they are way way cheaper than Coke and Pepsi..
I heard Mountain Dew has more caffeine than regular coffee? That's why a lot of students studying for exams are drinking it. Don't know how true though..
