Whats your favourite spice?

Do you have a favorite spice, something you frequently use in your recipes. Or do you have a spice which acts as a stress buster to you.
I love cardamom(elaichi), cloves, pepper, saffron, cinnamon, cumin seeds, carom seeds (ajwain) hence I mostly use them in the food I make. I find the smell of cinnamon a major stress buster.

I would have to say Garlic Powder as it can be used in just about anything, I also love chives,especially fresh ones in mashed potatoes.

I love Turmeric for rice, Marjoram and Rosemary for pastas and Nutmeg and Cinnamon in my Hot Chocolate. I agree that cinnamon reduces stress because I always feel good after smelling it.

Black pepper is a staple spice in our country. We used it everyday on our food. But me my favorite one is cinnamon. I put cinnamon in my coffee. I put cinnamon on my pancakes. and I love eating cinnamon break, Oh my that is pure heaven. and the smell of cinnamon is truly a major stress buster.
