Busy....Busy...Busy

No problem when you have visitors they take yup time and at leaast ya came back and told us ya wasnt gone. We have lost alot of friends here lately on mylot. BUt life here goes on like always or will when we get a new pump for the swimming pool lol hugs. and baby will come when she is ready!

Hi minnie, It's good to see you back here. I'm glad you've had the chance to spend time with your friend. I'm sure your six weeks will just fly by, if you make it that long. I'm looking forward to your dad's and your related discussions. As for me, I've been going through a couple of things of late, that aren't the greatest, to say the least. They are ongoing. On the positive side, my daughter and I leave for a week with my sister and her family, next Monday. We've already had one week with them, at the beginning of July. I can't wait, as I really need to get away. Please take care of yourself, and don't overdo. These final weeks should be a time for you to be pampered. Hugs.

It sounds like you have been having a good time with friends. My grandson has been here for a visit and my daughter come this past Saturday to get him and to spend some time with us also. They will be leaving tomorrow to go back home and I am sure going to miss them. I hope the next six weeks go by fast for you, I know all of ya'll are very excited for your daughter's arrival.

Wow six weeks to go, I cannot believe that, it has gone so fast! It will not be long before you are telling us that you have had her. Or your Dad will! I have not really been up to anything exciting, weather has not been great again this summer meaning that we have not been able to do much while the kids have been off school but they have found a friend that they have been going off to play with everyday so they have had fun!

Glad to hear you are doing alright. I remember that stage where one gets bigger than one ever imagined. Hard to believe the stomach can stretch out that much, lol. My last was big and four days overdue before he was born. I could place a dinner plate on my stomach, lol. Enjoy the time you have left that you can spend with your friends. Once the baby is born you'll be busy busy busy... and tired.

Hi Minnie! I was wondering where you have been, Luckily your dad posts often so he would have told us if you had the baby. Did you have your baby shower? If so, I'd love to hear about it!

Glad you're back even if just for a bit. I know busy, so I really understand. SOmetimes I don't have a chance to come here for quite some time as well. But it's always nice when we have a chance to sit down and relax in front of the computer reading and answering discussions.

looks like we are getting back into mylot at about the same time. I am so glad you started this discussion because I was thinking about you and wondering if you had given birth to the wee one yet. I see by your new(to me anyhow) avatar that you still have the raccoon. how has that been working out?

You have nothing to apologize for! We all have lives to live so, if we can't always be on myLot, who can blame us? As for me...there really isn't much of anything interesting to talk about. Seriously...nothing! I am doing the daily grind. Work, home, make dinner, eat, watch tv, go to bed and do it all over again the next day. Sorry! About the only exciting thing is that the hubby and I will finally be getting new kitchen counters. We are looking at Silestone. We also plan on replacing the sink and having back splashes put in too. So, once we get out and finally start looking for that stuff, I will be a little excited. I have had birthdays to shop for. Practically everyone I know and am related to has a birthday in August or September. So, it is an expensive time of the year for me. LOL! Anyway, that is about it. Take it easy and try to keep Savanna hanging in there for another 6 weeks!

Wow you have been busy!! Just think you will be even more busier in 6 weeks, when Savanna is here!! Its hard when friends come to visit, you get side tracking with them and then your other friend has had her baby too!! Bet you cant wait to have little mother meetings with her!! Well Ive had workmen doing my kitchen and bathroom. They have been around for 5 weeks now and are at the finishing odd job stage!! My mum came up 2 weeks ago for the day, to have a girly natter and catch up. i went shopping on tuesday to meet some old school friends. It was nice to have some girly time!! Hope the six weeks passes quickly for you and you will have to let us know when Savanna arrives. Take care x

I too seem to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life; but I always end up being drawn back to this site when things settle a little! As for what has been going on with me? Pretty much same old, same old! All I seem to do is work, rest for a day or so and then back to work! I have though travelled to the US, UK and Turkey for business in the last two months so I guess this is a little extra-ordinary compared to usual! I do generally travel a lot for work but this year has been a little quieter on that front than usual.

Welcome bavk minnie. Sounds like you've been busy with friends and all. Not too long before the little one arrives, good luck with that. We also had family visiting from NZ (my mum and aunt) and it was full on sightseeing, eating and catching up. Tryin got entertain my son for the summer holidays was full on too with his swimming lessons and all.

Yes I was wondering where you were and was wondering if you had had your baby yet. So you're naming your girl Savanna...what a beautiful name. Well I bet the six weeks might seem to drag now but you never know they might whiz by instead. Your dad is definitely going to have to have discussions about when Savanna does make her appearance to the world..just bet he'll be photographing like crazy

Nice to have you back! I know how you feel with the pregnancy thing. During my last two months, I walked hunched over. My circulation was bad. My muscles were sore all the time. And it felt like someone was constantly sticking me in my back. As for me, I started out August with best intentions to get some non-Mylot work done. Maybe getting some more ebooks published. Instead, I hit my 7000 mark on Mylot and developed Carpel tunnel symptoms in both hands. Now when I type more than an hour a day, my hands hurt. Lately, I've been watching lots of TV shows online. I have missed so much of the Olympics, it's not even funny. And I was looking forward to them. We don't have cable. And our local reception is not clear. I was hoping to find coverage online. But so far, no luck. Oh, yeah, I forgot. We got a new orange kitten about three days ago. My daughter is in love with the kitten. Best of luck with your baby. Post pics when you can!
