I would like to share with you books that I have read by Lili Dauphin. She has written about her experience growing up in poverty in the Caribbean.
In "Crying Mountain", 8 yr old Tilou survives a class 4 hurricane. In "I Will Fly Again-the Restavek" she is kept as a child slave. In her newest book, "My First Sin" Tilou searches for her first sin so she may take her first communion.
Her books teach you forgiveness, kindness, generosity, and to never keep up your hopes, dreams and desires. Young Tilou had a strength and wisdom seldom seen in young children. Compelling stories of survival that I couldn't put down.

I would appreciate it if I have read a book just as you described, however, there's not a book made me have the feeling just as you did. Anyhow, thanks for your sharing and I will read the books you have recommmended. Maybe there's a big surprise is just waiting for me.

I've read Mitch Albom's works and it kinda inspires me somehow.Especially the Five People You Meet in Heaven which put me on the brink of crying. Tuesday's with Morrie is also a great and inspiring book. And I'll try reading For One More Day.

I like books that give a positive message. Books that can really help people. I think there is alot in the bible, in proverbs which has alot of common sense knowledge.
