How do you guys pray?

I also pray in my bed before I go to sleep. I always read my bible and then I pray every night before I go to bed. This way I am more relexed and I can pray better this way also.

I pray with my eyes close and focus on what my mind and heart says. Very quietly, I talk to God of all my concerns. And asks Him to strengthen me for the days ahead.

i pray with my eyes clothes and hands folded... i say my prayer insinde the heart... i don't like to say my prayer loudly and let other people hear it... i like my conversation with my God to be confidential... take care and have a nice day...

Actually I pray in many different ways. I pray silently with eyes open when Im travelling by train. I pray in my fire temple, concentrating on our sacered fire as I am a Parsi Zoroastrian. At night, I usually lie down and pray silently. What you are doing is the best way to pray. You feel God is near and a friend and you talk to him. I think it makes you so much more closer to Him. Good going. Wish I could do the same.

When I pray to God, I have the conversation in my head with very few words being muttered out loud. I usually pray when I am by myself where I can reflect on my life and my future, what I have done and what I am going to do. Outdoors in the garden or working in the field is where I do it the most as I am usually the most at ease in these places.

my life is very rough....i'm a disabled single mother of a four year old and two year old....I only get 500 dollars a month to live on, with the econemy going to craps I'm pulling my hair out. I pray anywhere and everywhere....when i'm driving, at the grocery store, everywhere......i usually think it....i prefer my kids not repeat my prayers cause they repeat everything lol.....so yeah i ask for help alot cause I have Charcotmarietooth....and i wanna do things that normal people do and can't and that frustrates me to where i cry alot....but if this the worst of my life I'll be okay....

I just pray by being in constant communication with God. I don't need to get into a certain position, wear a certain piece of clothing, get into a prayer rug, fold my hands, close my eyes, whatever. I just do what I do, and know that God will hear me, regardless. Hod is everywhere, and in everything.

Prayer is communication with GOD.. i will pray as im speaking to a friend , ill be praising in him,worshipping him by singing songs, speak in tongues etc... or ill just be calm lifiting up my hands above just imagining how great and big our GOD is.. when i do this i can feel the presence of GOD , joy fills my heart.. , i can feel the real peace of GOD filling me .. thanks..

I do pray like you do. I'm not that of a monk-type who does a lot of things before engaging in the actual conversation. I can pray with my eyes closed and sometimes I wander my eyes while praying. My usual time of prayer is when I am driving.

i prayed both like what you said... but the latter is the worst. because when laying in bed,there was a temptation to sleep. especially the enemy, he is the source of temptation. and he wanted to do everything just to divert our attention.. so i suggest that we should put an effort to our prayers.. like Jesus' example. there was an effort to go somewhere and alone and really prayed. and boom, there was a lot of success in His life!! dont pray while laying down.. there is no effort there...

i close my eyes, clear my mind, (1)start glorifying His name, (2)asking forgiveness to all the things i have done for the day, (3)thank Him for the things he gave for the day and (4)lastly, ask for the things you wanted to have for the next day.

Well, praying is a serious matter with me. I will go to my room, kneel and pray silently with concentration to God. Talking to him like talking to a friend. sometimes we also have family worship where all of us will gather around in prayer. IN this case one of us would pray loud talking to God anything we want to say, kneeling and closing our eyes. That's the way we pray/...

I talk to God all day long. It's not a long lengthy conversation but I've noticed that I constantly say stuff like "Please help me God" or "Thank you God". Whenever I see someone in need especially. I rarely ever close my eyes because I'm normally doing something the same time I'm talking to God. At night is when I do my more quiet prayers. Then I will have my eyes closed nothing else is different though. I was taught growing up to just talk to God like He's your Best Friend. I do however know thatat certain times I need my full attention to be on God so I can really focus on what I'm praying for.

Hi angel_of_charm! There are times, that I pray on bended knees at the foot of my bed and I do have my eyes closed most of the time especially when I am having a hard time concentrating. There are times, that I am just sitting on my bed and praying. I usually say my prayers and then talk to Him like I will be talking to a friend but with much reverence. Take care always..God Bless!

i pray with my eyes closed and on my knees , praying within my mind , but i would like to pray while laying down but i might fall alseep lol

Praying is a serious matter with me either. I always talk to God and say my prayers just simply close my eyes and saying my prayers on my mind, I treat God as my friend either i use to say what happen in my day life,my problems and always asking for his help especially for my family and me either. I pray for everything, not just for my own selp but also for my country,my countrymen, my relatives etc.

i like to pray with silent with or without closing my eyes, and have a place where no one is there because i need that moment to speak to God, sometimes i feel God near to me, listen anything i say, and sometimes i don't know what to say, just believe that God know what problem we face all day.

I close my eyes and then my room should be very quite, I feel like God is here sitting next to me and then I start to ask Him and talk about all my problems. That's it! And I just wait the answear wether soon or later
