wrong order..

Hello vanities, It happened to me once. I ordered different food and I got totally different one. I called up the waiter and told her that they served me a wrong food. But I think if I am too hungry and can't wait for another one to be served, I just wallop whatever is in front of me! *smiles*

I will just order again and let the person finish eating the food she/he had started which supposedly mine.It happen sometimes that your order goes to the other customer specially when the restaurant is full but would you wonder if the food was given to you was not your order.You should not eat that right?Obviously it was not yours.

I recently ordered a meal and part of it was not correct. the soup I had ordered was potato and what came was chicken and dumplings - it was not very flavorful and the other part of my meal was turkey sandwich and that was just too much on the poultry for one meal... so I asked my waitress if they were out of potato soup. she was embarrassed over her mistake - offered my uneaten portion of chicken soup to my daughter and brought me a fresh order.

It all depends on the situation. If it is something of the same value as the meal I ordered I would probably let the server know and eat it, as long as it is something that I like. I would make sure the server knows so that I get billed properly. But if it is something I don't like or just something I don't really want or if I really wanted what I ordered really badly, I would ask for it to be taken back since it wasn't what I ordered and ask them to bring me what I ordered. Most of the time if something like that happens it is the fault of the cook and not the server so I am never mean about it. Even if it was the fault of the server I am still nice about it because we all are human and make mistakes. Also if you are nice about it the server will make sure you get your order promptly after that mistake. But if you are mean about it, and I have seen some nasty people, you will just continue to get the wrong service. You will be waiting a long time for your new order. well , it depends. if the dish is ok with me, i can accept it; or if the waiter will be punished due to his negligence, i'll take it. i dont wanna see their whole day payment be cut in this way. if someone who really ordered that need it more than i do , i can wait for mine to be served.

if the food serve to me looks inviting, i'll just eat it. But if it doesn't, i'll throw a tantrum and wait a little while more for my right order.

Well it really depends. If I have time to wait I might send it back and ask for what I chose in the first place. However sometimes we discover things we didn't know we liked by accepting something as simple as a wrong order at the restaurant. It a gamble really :) In any case, as a rule, I tend to ask for the right order.

I hate when that happens. We were at applebees one day and I couldn't stop laughing b/c they kept bringing food to the table next to us and it was wrong everytime. I'm surprised they got ours right. The manager finally came out and said she was sorry but how can you mess up that many times?

Unless you're desperate for food and the order you get is really acceptable send it back and demand quicker service. It doesn't have to be more than just a genuine mistake but what the hell ! Its your stomach and your money !

I would accept it, because if you don't they'll just go and throw it in the trash, thats a waste of food. Thats happened to me a few times, I ordered something and they brought out the wrong thing, I just ate it, it was good, I didn't want them to throw it out.

i do not get to go out & eat very often but when i do i want what i ordered because it's something special to me that i'm looking forward to. i would just nicely tell them that this is not what i ordered .

Hi there! If a restaurant will serve me a wrong order I will send it back. I like to eat foods that I really like. I don't like to taste or try a new one when I'm not in the mood and when I'm really hungry. I also like to feel happy while eating. And I wouldn't be happy forcing myself to eat the wrong food served to me. Ciao!

Well here getting the wrong order and eating it would really annoy a lot and of course that would mean you would be paying for another dish that could be more expensive. I always wait for the proper order to be served otherwise if it takes too long already and I'm very hungry then I just call the waiter to follow up that dish. So that it would be served to me already

for me, i won't accept the food, i think the restaurant should give me a good service, for excemple, all of the foods will free payment. becaust i don't know the foods if deliciou, i am afrade waste my mony, but also affect my mood, haha..........

i will still accept. i always try to think of myself in that person's shoes. so this could have happened to me. if I do not accept, it can be aproblem for that person.

Hihi, For me, it would depend on how delicious the dish is lol. But really, I will tell them of the mistake anyway. Chances are they will want to take the dish back even if I want it - whether to dump (if I have eaten) or pass to the right table.

No no.. i won't accept it straight away, unless the one who served it owns his fault.

i don't think i will eat the food that was served to me even if that food is not the one that i ordered. even if i am too hungry, i can't eat that food, even if it looks good and smells so delicious. if i wanted to eat at a place that i wanted and that certain food is what i went there for, in my opinion, that food should be served right on my table, right for my tummy and right for my appetite. I wouldnt accept the food.. I would look at the one who served it with my eyebrow raised.. haha.. Seriously, I wont accept it.. I do not know if that food tastes good.. or what if I dont like it? I would just end up not enjoying the food...

I will accept the food.And then I'll eat it up. Not all the food. I will left some on the plate. Then I'll call the manager and try my best to change the food. After that I will enjoy my order. LOL just ajoke... !!
