Do you drink water before you sleep?

I've read an article stating the drinking water ia an essential thing to do befor sleeping. The articles noted that it's when we sleep that our body detoxify. Reason why we should have ample water supply. Plus our breathing will be smooth when we drink water. Do you do this?

Yes I do. I am someone who drinks a lot of water. I drink it all the time (except when I am sleeping)
However, I heard drinking water before sleep is no good as it causes water retention and will result in our face and eyes looking puffy.
But I think I'll stick to your theory and continue to enjoy water before sleep.

I didn't know this. Good that I really drink plenty of water after dinner and before sleeping. Actually, I even make sure that I have a glass of water on my bedside table before I go to sleep because I usually drink in the middle of the night whenever I would wake up.

I do. And if I get up in the middle of the night I take a drink. I try to drink water early in the morning too. There is a great book out there about "You're not sick, You're Thirsty" it's a great read and talks about how much water plays a part in our health.

I drink several glasses of water daily. Around 2 to 3 liters daily. I always make sure that I drink water before I go to sleep. Water indeed is very important for our body. It is an essential for a better health.

I don't drink allot of water but I do leave a bottle of water near my bed in case I get thirsty.

Yeah I drink a little. Let us say half or full glass of water. But not that 3 glasses of water before bedtime. It will make me running all night to the pat of my comfort room. We must drink a lot during work. During daytime.

I drink water before bed and even after going to sleep. However, lately I have found myself going to the bathroom more and more often during the night. I have a hard time sleeping at night anyway...so this has gotten to be a problem and I might need to stop drinking water at night for more sleep.

Sometimes I do, just to get rid of the aftertaste of all the food I ate prior to sleeping. Whenever I forget, my throat feels a little uncomfortable. I would then wake up to drink water. Now that I see its benefit, I will make it a point to drink water before I go to sleep. I'm going to keep a bottle of water beside me before I go to bed. How about that?

I have always drank water before bed. Usually because I'm so dehydrated from the day and I'm craving it by then. I usually drink 2 glasses before I fall asleep.

Ya i do. I do that without knowing the proper reason. Everyone say that its good for health and so i do. Early morning when you wake up also you should drink 2 or 3 glasses of water. This will be useful for digestion.

ye,i often drinking water before sleep. but i met a problem, tomorrow morning my eyes become swollen. perhaps i had more water. now i still has the habit.
