Do you wear your seat belt?

Well, most of the time. Depending on my mood and if I am "feeling like safety". Most times yes, I would wear the seat belt.

I never used to wear my seatbelt and then years ago I had a company car and it was policy that you had to wear your seatbelt. About a year later I got into a bad accident and thankfully I had on my seatbelt and didn't get hurt that bad. I was so used to wearing my seatbelt that when the law passed that you had to wear a seatbelt I didn't even care. Now not only do I wear my seatbelt but my kids that drive wouldn't think of driving or riding in a car without wearing their seatbelt.

I wear mine all the time. It feels funny to not wear it at this point. I do remember when I was young, my parents did not make me wear a seat belt in the backseat (it was a station wagon with a bench seat in both front and back). I guess they though the backseat was safe enough back then. But now I wear one no matter if I'm the driver or a passenger; I also want everyone else in the car to wear one also.

Yes...I always wear it. Once you get used to it then you feel odd when you don't have it on! I really feel more secure having it in place.

Yes i wear my seat belt everytime that i get into the car... I am scared of getting into a wreck.... I also get a ticket for not wearing my seat belt so i remember to put on my seat belt every time i get into a car.... THat was my first and only ticket that i have gotten.. So now i always remeber to put on my seat belt..

I had a police officer show me some local clips he shot ith his camera of what happens when we don't where seat belts. That pretty much scared me straight. Nothing like a good decapitation to gain compliance on the highway. LOL

Honestly, I don't wear em. I just wear them whenever I am driving on the expressway. Here in the Philippines, it is not an exercise to use seatbelt, I know it is bad because it's against the law but I don't know why it is like that. Maybe I should practice wearing one so whenever an accident happens, I will be safe.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. I also wear the seat belts all the time. It better for safety.

I absolutley do! Not only is it the law here but I was in a bad accident a few years ago and my doctor said that is what saved mine and my daughter's lives. I will always buckle up and I encourage everybody else to too.

I always put my seat belt on as soon as I get in the car. It has now become a habit and I don't even realize I am doing it. If I am driving my car I don't even start it till after I put on my seat belt. Or if I am a passenger it is the first thing I do as soon as I sit down. So if you do it all of the time it will become a habit and you will be doing it without thinking about it. It is the law here in Canada so if you don't have your seat belt on you can get a fine of around $125.00 here in Calgary. It used to be only $35 but they have increased it because it is another way for them to grab some more money, the city. But it is also the safest way to be in your car so it is a good law, in my view. I think everyone should be wearing one and then there would be less fatalities when people do get into an accident. It seems that most of the fatal accidents are because the person didn't have their seat belt on. Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend, Your friend Chris

wearing seat belt is must if you want to live . nobody knows when or where what would happen . Among passenger vehicle occupants,safety belts saved an estimated 10,750 lives and air bags an estimated 842 lives in 1997.As our streets and highways become more congested, we cannot afford to be complacent or unprotected.

Yup i always wear mine.I just hear about all my friends getting pulled over for not having their seat belts on.Plus I jus feel safer with it on Ive been in a couple of accidents(Not always my fault:) and like you I thank God Nothing happened :]

of course because it not only saves many lives but a big check from leaving my pocket , its the law and its like a saving device in two ways.

Yes, I always wear my seat belt. I have my dad to thank for getting me into that habit. When we were around 8 and 10 (my sister and I), my dad started charging us 50 cents every time we got into the car and didn't put our seatbelts on. He'd wait until we pulled out of wherever we were before fining us (just to make sure he gave us a chance to put our seatbelts on in the first place). And he made it work for us too. If we caught him without his seatbelt, he owed both of us 50 cents. : ) Now it is just a habit.

I do. Its the law here but I knew someone who didn't wear thier seatbelt and was thrown from the car during an accident and passed away. He was really bad off from the reck.

I always wear my seatbelt. It's the first thing I do when I get into a vehicle, whether I'm driving or a passenger.

i always do wear a seat belt....i have never mat an accident but still it is just for our saftey and we should do wear a seat belt whenever we drive.......

yes one should always wear seat belt while driven in a vehicle, not doing so may become fatal. One of our friend met an accident on highway, all were killed except one child, wearing seat belt. Beware of fatality of not adhering rules.
