I don't on a regular basis, at least my husband has never told me that I have. My husband occasionally does, my daughter definately does. I have heard both my sons udder a word or two on occasion, but they were not really talking. My huaband has sat up in the middle of the night and said something to me and lays back down and goes to sleep and has no recollection of doing it. It is pretty funny. I am sure I have talked in my sleep, but no body ever told me about it.

it is funny. i guess the utterance of a single word is quite common, but the talking in phrases or even sentences isnt. usually, i have no recollection of what i was saying or what i dreamt about. thanks for sharing,

I don't think I do but my husband and my kids do. They do say funny things and sometime they will shout and laugh.

I used to talk in my sleep when I was young but I am not sure of it now. I used to either talk about my schoollwork or I am quarelling with my sibblings.

No one has ever told me that. I dont think I ever talk in my sleep to my knowldege. My sister talked in her sleep once when we were kids. She said "Karen took my book." I got yelled at for it by my mom the next day. She said "You know you are too mean to her." Anyway that's the only incidence of sleep talking I can remeber anyone even doing around me.

I don't really talk in my sleep although i am told that sometimes i mumble some things but they are not clear at all. I noticed that this happens when I go to bed quite tired and exhausted. I was quite worried before because i go out of town frequently on official business and take a room with an officemate usually. I didn't want to be spilling my secrets in my sleep but family members who have had the opportunity to observe me while I am asleep assured me that i may mumble or groan or make noises but no one could understand a word.

spilling out secrets was one of my worries too. not that i keep a lot from my husband but who knows what im saying...its really good that i dont do it often anymore. i also noticed that this occurs when im soo tired or stressed out. if ever i'll do it next time, i wish i could just mumble so no one will understand,LOL.

No but I remember when I shared my room with my little sister, she spoke in her dreams. It was so funny to listen her speaking nonsense every single night :)

I've been known to talk and even laugh in my sleep. Once I sleepwalked (?) into my mother's room and asked her for the car keys? Ha! She realized I was sleepwalking and I woke up on my way back to bed.
