Why did you join mylot?? Money or Fun??

Same answer for me pretty much. I joined in the hopes of making money but ended up falling in love with the site. I found out shortly that you can't make a lot of money on here but I enjoy it just the same anyways. I get a lot of joy out of posting my own and commenting on other's discussions. It's a lot of fun!

yes vidhyavini, I too joined here to make money but I have become addicted to mylot now. I meet lot of people accross the world and gained lot of knowledge. I have earned quiet a bit too here. Mylot has also improved the way I speak to other and my english language as well. What about your other experiences here.

thats one of the best questions or discussions that i must say that have come around in here. i first came with the view of earning in a lot of money in here but now i dont know how but i m just addicted to blogging and mylot. everymorning that i wake up i wait very eagerly for the evening so that my universities it cafe opens up and i may start my usual mylot and blogging stuff. i really love to answer a lot of discussions rather than creating them by myselves.

I joined mylot mainly to practise my English writing in the beginning,for I want to obtain good enough language ability to get a job in multinational enterprise.On the other hand,I hope to make friends with strangers from other countries.I think make money here is not very easy because the earned money is too little to do anything.But to children,it is quite a good way to make pocket money.

Hmm.. at first it all about curiosity if this site really do pay and also i don't really plan to earn any money online, I was just referred by my friend here. But then after a while I find it more enjoyable than to focus on if the site really god pay or not. I think its wonderful that most of the members here, are here for fun and not just for me cause if they are just after the money I don't think many of them will stay here since you can only earn here a very little amount of money everyday.

Actually I joined myLot because I love to write and i love to write and get paid for it. Okay I am a nosy parker and I like learning things, and also since I hate telephoning, and am not at good at talking or conversation, this is the best way for me to learn things. Fun - I guess that leads to the fluff discussions. But if you come here because of love of writing, then you want to portray your ideas and read the ideas of others. I would say here you get paid for information and at the same time, improve your writing, get solutions to your problems, learn that you are not alone. That others have the same problems as you do. I do have a goal of so much a day, and it seems rather hard to accomplish it. I am not one in starting new discussions and when I respond, I do not write a long article that reaches down to the end of the box and the down arrow appears. And I do not have any referrals, but I am still trying.

LOL. I thought it is pretty obvious, isn't it? Much as many of us would not admit openly, I dare bet that we are all here for both money and fun. . I join mylot initially for a friend. Then one stage it is for money and subsequently, it is for personal development and subsequently friendship. Now it is.... a pasttime.

I am on myLot because I enjoy responding to discussions, I don't really earn that much from the site. It seems to be that people either love it or dislike it. Some of my referrals started out getting involved, but then suddenly stopped coming to the site - I think it's a shame as its more about making friends than making money.

When I came here I was looking for a place to make a little money, I have stayed here because of all the friends I've made and the discussions. I can also make a little money here and that is good too. Blessings.

I joined for fun and I only reply to the discussions that interest me. So I've only made $1.87 here but to me its not about the money its about the people and here to have fun and to reply to the discussions that are of interest to me.

If you joined for the money you are in for a surprise, it's not easy to earn on Mylot. I like the discussions it widens my exposure to all types of interesting people.

I have been here for around 7 months now though i became a member of mylot almost 20 months back. Initially i joined this site in Dec 2006 mostly under the influence of my friend who has been earning good online money. I posted here for 1 month before i stopped using this site anymore.It was only in the beginning of this year that i came back here and started posting a little everyday. I dont have a personal computer so its only during office time that i get to access internet. I have been paid only twice and it will be the 3rs time next month. Each time just a little over 10$. I hardly post 4-5 responses in a single day, and sometimes i may skip that too. But the thing that i like the most about mylot is the communication and interaction with different people which can continue for years to come. Its so much interesting over here to interact with different people, get to know them, listen their views and get their advice too. Moreover i feel so free to discuss on any kind of topic over here and its so gr8 to see the huge responses of the people. It fills me with energy and inspires me to interact more and more. So i have just developed a habit or call it a routine that whenever i come to my office every morning, i just login here to check whats new and whats in store for me.. So Keep posting . I have hoped to have both, fun and money :) I have noticed about me that I like the forum form. It is nice and there is less attack than the blog form. In my humble opinion anyways. And the money is good :)

well i joined for some fun and enjoyin myself here. here i can meet with lot of people and i can interact with them and know about the various things which is happening out here. i get to know the view points of people and their different mind sets they ve. so i am here.
